I enjoyed Octavia and might come back either friends who have never been. I got the tasting menu. The server was super accommodating and let me choose some of dishes that were brought it and overall it was a really great deal for the quality and quantity. Always order the bread and cultured butter. The food was salty but I think at Octavia it’s important to eat all the elements of the dish together. When I did that the saltiness really evened out with the other elements of the dish. The customer service and ambiance is fantastic so it’d be perfect for a date. The ingredients were really fresh. My favorite dishes were the MISTO: perfectly fried and salted okra and ple beans with a delish dip. The MELON was probably the sweetest and juiciest melon I have ever had. I found the GARLEEK was their most complex and interesting dish. The SHELLING BEANS is their take on a chili and could have been a home run had it come with some of the fixings I usually expect with chili. The TROUT was cooked to perfection but again lacking some fresh ingredient that would really make it dance on the taste buds. Overall I had a good culinary experience and excited to see how this restaurant evolves.

At Trestle, we remember a time, not too long ago, where people took pause to enjoy a meal in the presence of great company, giving it the reverence and respect deserved. We provide a dining experience served in courses, with the satisfaction and warmth found at a family gathering, creating the foundation to a proper meal.

Every day we feature a changing 3 course prix fixe menu with choices on each course for $45/person. We will have an optional additional pasta course for $12/person. Unfortunately, we do not offer ala-carte options.

We are able to accommodate vegetarian options nightly. We do our best to accommodate other allergies/restrictions based on the menu for that evening.

Due to our limited spacing, we can accommodate parties of 8 or less only.

We came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and they gave him a lil birthday card and just all around made the experience awesome. The food was fantastic, the dessert was unique and delicious as well. Would definitely recommend and return.

Pausa is a unique culinary experience. Authentic Italian food using only the finest carefully sourced and crafted ingredients combine with creativity and panache. The combination of ingredients contribute to the taste. We began with the delicious duck pâté. It was my birthday and my husband and I both ordered the cannelloni. It was unlike any cannelloni I have ever eaten. The textures, the flavors, the taste were out of this world! The service was impeccable. The dessert was a delight- a strawberry -pistachio rémoulade which was heavenly. It was a lovely and memorable evening.

My family and friends loved the freshly prepared meals using market-fresh, nutritious farm to table featuring safe (EWG Clean 15) ingredients prepared (with no inflammatory seed oils) using the seasonal bounty of California’s best organic produce and local, clean, sustainably sourced ingredients, such as Verde 100% grass-fed beef and wild-caught tuna. We were delighted with the chefs’ preparation and presentation of all the dishes, which came hot to the table accompanied by tasty sauces. Our server Rahul was very attentive to us and ensured our dishes arrived hot and promptly to the table. Every bite of the 3-course pre fixe menu was delicious, from the amuse-bouche to dessert. The cocktails were creative and were a great way to start our evening. Service was attentive but not rushed. Spruce is a special place… can’t wait to dine there again!

What's not to love about Shakewell? Amazing food, cocktails, ambiance, and above all, the incredible staff! Shakewell has become a staple for the Lakeshore community, and I am beyond sad to see them go. Honestly, the best churros in the bay, and I've had my fair share!

Currently, our back parking lot is under construction due to the development of Stockman's Park. Parking is limited, but the parking lot is still accessible from L Street, or Railroad Avenue. We also have a few designated parking spaces near our rear entrance, but if all of those spaces are full, there is also a parking garage on Railroad Avenue. The food and service were exceptional. The xiao long bao was as close to that in Taipei that I’ve found in the states. The dim sum was refined so it doesn’t have the authentic atmosphere but we will go back the next time we layover in SFO.
