My first visit to Atlas in several years was for the special occasion of bidding a friend farewell for his summer holiday in Thailand. I wanted something very, very special, based on a quiet setting and a food experience focused on quality of menu and presentation, and Atlas OVERDELIVERED. From the graceful and dignified service to the artistic experience both of food and decor, my guest and I were both overwhelmed and in the best way. A resounding and unqualified 5 of 5 stars. The black truffle pillows in particular must NOT be missed!

We chose Auberge du Soleil for our New Year day Brunch. We were so lucky because the weather was beautiful on New Year day which was perfect for outdoor setting. This is our second time to this restaurant. We were very impressed the first time so we wanted to come back. The Brunch is fixed 3 courses menu including sparkling wine, Mimosa. Auberge du Soleil Rose. It also comes with complimentary bread and muffin which is very good. We had Shrimp salad, Gnocchi, Tuna, Omelet. For desserts, we had Apple tart and trio fruit sorbets. My favorite part was the dessert. They were so delicious. My husband loved Shrimp salad and Tuna. Tuna cooked perfect. The day was sunshine so we had great view. After meal, we also asked to have self walking tour at their sculpture garden. It was good to have some walk after Brunch and was interesting to see different sculptures if you do not mind to walk some stairs. The service was excellent. All people we contacted were very warm and friendly. I forgot my camera and got back immediately. The hotel front desk was happy to get us a key for garden tour. They have valet service on site for parking. Overall, we had a perfect day on the first day of 2023!

I’m a huge fan of this place. I’ve been at least 6 times, and always make a point to visit while in the city. This time was underwhelming. We had the tasting menu and left hungry. We stopped for sandwiches on the way home. 2 of the 7 dishes were asparagus centered and could be consumed in 2 bites. Both good, but should have been a single course. The portion sizes were noticeably small. 2 dessert courses felt like an excuse (really a single dessert). The lamb was forgettable and tiny. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were excellent hosts (although others who had the tasting menu left with some sort of delicious looking bread, and we left with only our receipt). Prices also felt significantly higher, which would be fine if the experience was the same, but felt like a double whammy. I should probably give it 3 stars, but I simply can’t because of so many other wonderful experiences there. It wasn’t bad, but for the first time I’m questioning whether to go back.

"My girlfriend and I did the Omakase 7 course menu (if one person at the table does it, the whole table must also participate). Every course was fantastic. For me the standouts were the tuna/truffle cracker, the sushi, the seabass and the duck ramen. However, the dessert was also mind-numbingly delicious. Very attentive and professional service."

Had the tasting menu, which was delicious and well-portioned. Also they were able to provide GF options. Fennel soup was amazing, as were halibut crudo, carrots and little gem salad. The ragout was under-salted but tasty. The bavette was very tasty though not quite as good as the starters. Honestly I would not have ordered the Pavlova but it was spectacular. It was expensive but lovely and the service was great. Would not get the decaf coffee again.

Gibson's is our go if we are celebrating or have visitors we want to dazzle! From the moment you arrive, the team makes you feel as though they are glad you came. The service is friendly and efficient, the food is beautiful and the portion sizes not crazy (unless you are aiming for one of the King size Tomahawks to share). Incredible wine list and fantastic cocktail menu offer endless options to for newbies to aficionados. Special shout out to Juan who was our lead waiter and his stealthy team that delivered and cleared the table. We ate in the upstairs dining room this time, and when it's just the two of us we love to pop in for a drink at the bar (ask for Annie!) and enjoy a few sharable appetizers.

This is one of the great restaurants of NYC. The food is excellent, the setting is wonderful (we love sitting in the “sun room”), the bar is a classic, the service is attentive, the location is very convenient to The Met and Madison Avenue shopping and the crowd is authentic New York. This was our third visit to Tosca, and they never disappoint! My wife and I had gorged ourselves on oysters before going to a movie, so we were not famished when we arrived at the restaurant afterward. We were commemorating (not celebrating) my wife visiting her sister for two weeks, so we started with a couple of glasses of bubbly rosé. A very good beginning! We shared the Tutto Tonno, which was plated so beautifully we were abashed to descend upon it from both sides rather than enjoying the dish as it was obviously intended. Regardless, it was delicious. Our waitress Diane warned me that I might want to consider a side dish with my steak, but since the menu mentioned that it came with spinach and mushrooms, I figured she was trying to upsell us. This was not the case, and had I been hungrier I would have been kicking myself. As it was, none of the sides appealed to me, and I enjoyed the entrée on its own. The shitaki mushrooms were nearly as meaty as the strip loin, and the spinach was a puree that went so well with the brown sauce on the steak. My wife had the lobster tortellini special and deigned to grant me a bite. Much as I enjoyed my steak I nearly seethed with jealousy! :) At this point we were well sated, but opted for desert wines and the cheese plate, as we didn't want to leave. I would be remiss if I didn't say that the afore mentioned Diane and her assistants were reminiscent of the classic tradition of their craft. Aside from my misconception mentioned above, we felt attended to, but not hovered over, and extremely well served. I can't wait to celebrate my wife's return with another visit.
