The space now includes its own biergärten and restaurant along with a working brewery. I had tacos and my wife had a burger. Both were excellent. Drinks were priced pretty well, and if you order a Steam Whistle product (I did) it’s obviously going to be really fresh.. really enjoyed it, would go back.

However, it only takes a quick scan of the menu to see that unlike many wine bars, food isn’t an afterthought here—this is one of the city’s most ambitious operations. It skips the typical meat and cheese boards, instead giving diners options such as smoked fish dip or canestri pasta with kale and chicken skin gremolata. An absolutely phenomenal dining experience ss always,from start to finish. The food was outstanding my favorite appetizers were the Tuna Tartare and the foie gras, both incredibly rich in flavor and beautifully presented. For the main course, I loved the halibut and the butter-poached lobster ,each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. And to finish, the coconut pie is always my go-to dessert light, tropical, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates top-quality cuisine and impeccable service!

What a great experience! We both decided on the 10 Course Signature Tasting which ended up being a unique experience. 10 course but 20 different dishes to sample. Our Server Robert was great, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to interact with. The entire staff at George Restaurant were very professional and attentive to the flow of the meal. This is the way dining should be!

A nice selection of botteld Italian wines, wheras option of wines by glass rather limited; a Negroamaro, Primitivo or Salice would be a nice addition for those who appriecate stronger reds with their food. The food and service are always outstanding. I find the music a little too loud and the heaters on the outdoor patio far too intense for my liking. We moved to a different table to try to sit farther from the heaters.

The food and service are always outstanding. I find the music a little too loud and the heaters on the outdoor patio far too intense for my liking. We moved to a different table to try to sit farther from the heaters.

When you want to dine like royalty, head to BlueBlood Steakhouse — one of Toronto’s most luxurious steakhouses, located in the city’s historic castle, Casa Loma. The interior is part modern hunting lodge, with leather banquettes and antler chandeliers, and part art museum, with works by Dali, Warhol, and street artist Mr. Brainwash lining the walls. Against this backdrop, dishes such as a dry-aged striploin or a rare bottle from the restaurant’s wine cellar (built by the original owner of the castle to house over a thousand bottles) don’t feel extravagant — instead they’re right in line with the surroundings.The surf is as good as the turf, including a seafood tower piled high with king crab, jumbo prawns, lobster, oysters, and salmon crudo.

This was one of the best steakhouses we have visited. The service from Alex was excellent and the food was delicious at every course. The short rib ravioli was a fabulous and filling appetizer and we enjoyed the Caprese salad. The filet was so tender we didn’t even need a steak knife, and the bearnaise and cognac peppercorn sauces were wonderful. The baked Alaska was spectacular and was like dinner and a show. Overall, we enjoyed it so much we came back the next night for dessert. Highly recommend, and we will be back!
