We celebrated our 41st anniversary here last night and we were thoroughly impressed. First of all the dining room is beautiful, the staff was amazing and we were served by the manager and general manager. The table was nicely decorated with a card signed by the entire staff and rose pedals were so beautiful spread across the table. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. From the lobster escargot appetizer to the dry aged ribeye to the huge sides of pancetta corn and Gruyère au gratin potatoes everything was on point. Best steak we have had in our 41 years and best service as well. Forget other steakhouses and come to Hyde Park.

Some of our party arrived early and enjoy some happy hour drinks and appetizers before our Flaming Tomahawk experience. The Happy Hour food and drinks were great. The Tomahawk experience left us all feeling slighted in a couple of ways. The $350 steak was barely enough to feed 4 portions, let alone 5 or 6 even with the salads and appetizers we ordered. We ordered the steak medium and received medium rare which only one member of our party liked. Time constraints did not allow us to send it back especially with this being a high end restaurant. I would pay to come for happy hour but the dining room. I really like this place a lot. I would still highly recommend it. This was my second time and I would go again.

We ordered the steak medium and received medium rare which only one member of our party liked. Time constraints did not allow us to send it back especially with this being a high end restaurant. I would pay to come for happy hour but the dining room. I really like this place a lot. I would still highly recommend it. This was my second time and I would go again.

Always a favorite stop of ours when we visit Sarasota. Food is always good, staff is always great. The live music is also fun. But can be a little loud but still sets the vibe.
