This is my favorite restaurant. The pepper steak, Caesar salad, banana bread, drinks and dessert are wonderful. Steak was done perfectly and the sauce is to die for. I’ve been going here for 40 years and it has never disappointed. Highly recommend!

5 star experience (almost) all the way. Thiago and Mary are by far the BEST servers of any restaurant in Tampa Bay. Food is always amazing. Perfection on so many levels. The only opportunity for the managers here, is we expect a high end 5 star experience. They were seating people, on a Saturday night, wearing gym shorts, t-shirts and baseball hats in the dining room right next to us. Kind of ruined the ambiance.

Atmosphere and food choices very unique; the wood fire smell lingers throughout the restaurant giving it a true florida feel. Meals were a bit pricey but nothing is quite like this restaurant. I had the chili; where else can you get a combination of Alligator, wild boar, venison, duck, ground chuck, cranberry beans and chili spices?! Was tender and so filling!

Went for New Years Day Dinner with my family. The place was busy but we had reservations in advance so the Manager (Carlos) made sure our wait time was less than 5 minutes. The service, food and overall experience was fantastic at this location in Tampa, FL. I highly recommend it. We will be returning in the near future.

Salt rock grill is one of the best Restaurants in Florida hands down. A lot of other places you pay more for less or more greasy fried versions. There early dine options are very yummy, price friendly and even three course. With even very reasonable drink prices in that time frame. They know how to do it right from start to finish. It’s the highlight of eating out for us when we come to Florida. The Sea Bass option is fantastic, and rock the boat. The kids steak and shrimp for $10 is wonderful. Thanks so much Salt Rock for keeping prices affordable and food excellent.

This is our second visit to Michael's on East. We were greeted by the proprietor, who asked what we were celebrating (as I indicated on our reservation). It's so nice to find a restauranteur that pays attention to the details. We were greeted by Kelly and she also congratulated us (without being overly invasive). We were treated to a lovely amuse bouche, and a wonderful dessert on the house. What a lovely experience. We also were thrilled to find one of our favorite Spanish wines on the menu. They have a lovely and varied wine list. Kelly offered impeccable service, and we truly enjoyed our evening.

The food is great. The chef went out of their way to make sure I was able to eat something with gluten free options. The Mahi Mahi was great. The burger my husband ate was rare and not medium rare, so they fixed him another one to go. The bottle of wines were great too. They gave us a card from everyone wishing us a happy anniversary. I would recommend it, because I always enjoy my time when we come here.

started with a very wobbly table but once leveled the meal was fine.. Dishes were hot and well prepared. Pepper Mill was empty, no sugar brought to table with my Dbl Espresso had to ask twice.
