Lilac, the Michelin-Starred Mediterranean restaurant helmed by the esteemed Chef John Fraser, redefines the art of dining. It features signature elements of Chef Fraser's Mediterranean cuisine mastery, explored through fresh Floridian ingredients.

Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the dining room’s open concept, walnut flooring, and glowing pendant globes surround an eight-seat Christian Liaigre chef’s counter and a lively open kitchen, creating a convivial, yet elevated environment. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish and French cuisines, Lilac’s menu is a balance of fresh, seasonal, and locally-sourced items with bold flavors and exquisite presentations.

We went for my husband’s 40th birthday & it was totally worth it! It was an amazing experience- delicious food & outstanding service. The wine pairings provided to us for our a la carte meal were great. Our server Ryan was terrific. The chef was very accommodating with my husband’s gluten allergy - they even had gluten-free bread & pasta! We can’t wait to go back for another unforgettable meal.

PSOMI literally translates to “bread” but its essence is so much more. Psomi refers to the best bite, the “choice” piece, the crumb that everyone at the table fights over. Whether you’re a local or just passing through- Psomi is more than just an incredibly delicious, beautiful bakery + eatery, it’s a place to call home.

At The Library, the familiar aroma of coffee, the promise of a delicious meal, and the anticipation of friendly buzz will offer a reprieve from the daily chaos. It is where the community as a whole comes to refill their cup, both proverbially and, often, quite literally. You will find dining options both inside and outside, as well as at the bar. For walk-up service, our pastry counter offers coffee, tea and pastries throughout the day. We look forward to serving the community, visitors, and hospital staff alike.

The Library was a serendipitous find that turned out to be a treasure during our mini break away. We walked into a corner glass building into a cool and cozy place filled with lots of blonde wood and blue books making for a comfortable space. We began with Daisy Buchanan, a grand centenario and watermelon cucumber puree cocktail that was light and refreshing, and Sunshine City ipa. We shared the warm burrata with tomato confit that came with a large chunk of buttered baguette and a huge Roasted Beet Salad that we literally devoured as they were that good! We were anticipating that the entrees would also be tremendous and we were right. My husband had the Pan Seared Chicken (boneless half chicken au jus with pave potato and sautéed greens hidden under the chicken) and I had the Salmon entree (generous portion of fish with charred scallion gnocchi, rainbow chard and apricot mostarda). I was reluctant to leave anything behind and polished off my plate while my husband ended up taking home half the chicken and the salad. It made for a delicious sandwich the day after. Our only regret is not having had the room to try their desserts. We both remarked on how great the food was and how happy we were to have dined here. It’s definitely a not to miss place when in St. Petersburg!

Once again, we loved our experience here at Timpanos! Wine selection, ambiance, hospitality, and, of course, their pasta is unparalleled. I highly recommend trying them out for a nice dinner date or event.
