The melon with prosciutto appetizer was very tasty. Ravioli with ricotta and spinach was a bit light on ricotta, but tasty. Grilled calamari was good. Wine is overpriced like all restaurants around here.

Benvenuti! Casa Santo Stefano is a new Sicilian restaurant from the Gonzmart family, owners of the Columbia Restaurant Group. The lunch and dinner menus feature maccheroni (pasta), steaks, seafood, scacciata, salads, soups, desserts and hundreds of Sicilian wines. Curbside takeout is available by calling the main phone number. The rooftop Santo's Drinkeria also is open.

Housed in a beautifully re-imagined former 1925 Ybor City macaroni factory, the restaurant is a look back to Sunday suppers, simpler times and shared stories.

Grouper Bites are 10/10. Absolutely amazing! Was told the Crab Cakes are the best on any Key and believe me they were Fresh and Moist! Could use a little more mayo mixture but they were a tasty 9.5/10. 2 fully loaded Lobster Rolls for under 40$!!! Tons of lobster, perfect amount of bread/lobster-mayo ratio. My favorite on any Key for the last 4 years. (Comes with lettuce and tomato which I picked out.) 9.75/10!!! Making another trip to Dry Dock before my trip ends!

Food was great as always. My dish came out too early so I had it sent back and waited for my guest’s dish to be prepared as someone accidentally took it for another table. Our server was apologetic about it and offered a little compensation for the mistake, which was greatly appreciated. My guest loved the decor and the ambience as there was music playing in the bar section that carried over.

It was very busy and got busier, all of it well managed, however! Out server, Lisa, was excellent. We enjoyed an appetizer of my favorite crispy cauliflower and salad then my friend had oysters and I had grouper, fresh off the boat at 4:00 she said! It came out very hot, a little crispy for my taste but still enjoyed with great fries and lots of mayo, mustard and ketchup on the side. I had ordered the spicy mayo on the side so got a combo. All good followed by the best Key Lime Pie—my personal fave dessert.

Cute new place to tryout; food was great however the coffee afterwards was old. When asked the server she stated it was brewed 2 hours earlier. To me when the table orders coffee a new pot should be brewed. As mentioned in other reviews parking is not an easy feat. I had to park several blocks back in a neighborhood.

I travel often and always like trying new resteraunts and also received a recommendations for. I went to the Library with my wife and we LOVED it! From the best sea salt bread, to the pork belly appetizer, perfectly seared scallops, and a great Chocolate “chip” cookie with actually milk! Brought me back to my childhood. Will go again and recommend

Always a favorite stop of ours when we visit Sarasota. Food is always good, staff is always great. The live music is also fun. But can be a little loud but still sets the vibe.

We loved the ambiance of the space and our server (Cheryl I think) was fantastic. She was managing a lot of tables but was doing it well. She was friendly, prompt and attentive. Our cocktails were perfectly balanced, well presented the the flavors were well blended. You could tell they made their own juices and syrups in house. We ordered the hummus and charcuterie as starters and both were delicious…perfect portions, flavorful and well-seasoned. For the main course my husband got the Tavern Burger and it honestly was really good but the brioche bun fell apart with the juiciness of the burger making it a knife and fork venture. I got the rotisserie chicken salad and the ingredients were very fresh but the pieces of chicken were really chewy and hard to eat and there was very little feta on the salad. I also found the dressing to be lacking in flavor. I didn’t mention anything to Cheryl as it was good enough to eat and I left full, but it just wasn’t great. We would definitely go back and maybe order different main courses next time.
