Today was Our second visit to this charming restaurant Casa Santo Stefano, a Silician restaurant owned by the Columbian family, Gonzmarts. It is becoming a new Tampa/Ybor City favorite!m for us! Thankfully our darling waiter, Gino let us know how generously sized their sandwiches are. WOW! HUGE!!! Their Italian sausage sandwich on Cuban bread was excellent with their handmade potato chips. Their side mixed salad was one of the best that I ever had! For dessert we ordered their cannoli’s. By far one of the best that I have ever tasted!!! We will definitely be returning…since they weren’t busy yet, I enjoyed perusing the old photos from the Silician families who landed here generations ago.

It has been my husband and eyes favorite place to dine for years. We have since moved away from Clearwater to Sarasota six years ago when we have a date night, we drive to Clearwater to dine at clear sky on Cleveland. We have never had bad service or a bad meal. The place is always beautiful and clean and our servers have been amazing including the one we had to celebrate my birthday yesterday I believe his name was Russell. He was exceptional. I can’t say enough about how much we love this restaurant.

This was our first time dining here before a show at the Opera House. We sat at the bar and ordered happy hour food and beverages. Faith was our server and she was amazing. Attentive, knowledgeable about the food and offered her recommendations without being pushy. We tried the oysters Rockefeller flatbread special, at her recommendation, which was unique and equally as delicious as it was unique. Rich, decadent and melted in our mouth. It totally should be on the menu permanently. We also tried the chili shrimp and the filet sliders and they were as delectable as the flatbread. I don’t have enough good things to say about the food. I only wish I had taken pictures to share but you’ll have to take my word for it:). Service was stellar and it was the perfect place to kick off our evening.

The value for the happy hour bites and appetizers can't be beat. Great value and great experience. Will be back.

We both had a wonderfully delicious meal and cocktails . We had fresh oysters for an app and my husband had the surf and turf. I had the grouper Sandwich . It was great and fresh , except for the sparse julienne slaw on top . Our server, Rifka was excellent . She gave great efficient friendly service . She has been our server before and she is a delight and so helpful .
