Take a seat at our signature French-inspired bistro, Couvant, housed in the former Peychaud Cocktail Bitters factory. Here, French techniques (think pain perdu for breakfast and cochon de lait for dinner) play on the roots of New Orleans cuisine using fresh, local ingredients. New Orleans is renowned for its French cuisine, and you won’t have to leave the confines of The Eliza Jane to enjoy delicious fare within a French bistro. Couvant specializes in classic French cooking serving entrees that pay homage to French history and regional specialties. Never pretentious, the dishes and service at Couvant are purposefully simple and social. Nestle into an intimate dining room banquette. Or dine at a bistro table in our historic courtyard for chef-driven entrées and a bottle of wine — or maybe two.

My family had a wonderful brunch experience at Meril. The burgers were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chicken and buttermilk biscuits were also a table favorite. Justin, was exceptionally attentive and offered suggestions to help with our meal selection. The only thing better than our entrees was the dessert! Say YES to the banana cream pie! It’s creamy, banana filled and delicious! From start to finish, this meal was exceptional!

Palace is such a beautiful space. Our server, Dena, was attentive, friendly, helpful and delightful. The Lewis Carroll inspired cocktails were delicious, as was the crabmeat cheesecake.

What a fantastic place. We were there for Saturday brunch. Alex, our server, was excellent. We had the escargot to start followed by an omelet with a side of brussel sprouts. The atmosphere was elegant but casual. Highly recommend this place!

All of the many years we have been coming to our favorite town New Orleans for grazing through this cities wonderful cuisine. We found The Chop House. This is effective tonight our favorite place to eat in NOLA. Our waiter Jared was outstanding. The food oh my. I had Red Fish my husband had stone crab and shrimp. Both were phenomenal. Their old fashion was incredible and my husband’s dirty martini he loved. Great ambience, with impeccable service.

First time back in over 20 years and Restaurant August didn't disappoint!! This is my favorite spot in NOLA, the vibe, the food, the service are all exquisite and such a welcome escape from the madness of the French Quarter. Food in New Orleans is good but tends to be heavy and August is such a lovely departure from that with smaller, lighter portions with amazing flavors that each look like a work of art! You simply must go if you are in town!!
