Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. The food, service and ambience were all superb. I can’t recommend highly enough. We had the set menu, which is very good value, and a lovely bottle of Tempranillo. This is restaurant not be missed in my opinion. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Go for the food - expertly prepared and presented. Don't go for the view - restaurant is currently opposite two high rise buildings under construction. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Apart from the staff taking unfinished drinks as part of the efficient service the evening was faultless. We shared vegetarian starters, a lamb biryani and tandoori chicken, which a side of a trio of daal. Delicious and perfectly matched with the house champagne. MoreOpenTable Diner -
The ambience is usual for a restaurant of this quality. Crisp white table cloth, well shined cutlery and glasses. Good level of brightness and airy. The menu is good, precise, short ish and well explained. Food was no surprise when it arrived. We felt the service was a little pushy while we were there for a quick bite. MoreOpenTable Diner -

We shouldn’t have been able to get a table... in fact this restaurant should be booked up for the next year! It was awesome, I can not fault anything about this hidden gem. Yuma, the owner, head chef, sommelier, head waiter and all round lovely guy brings with him a homely passionate feel to your eating experience... it feels like Michelin dining in your own kitchen. We had the 7 course meal (you can have 5, 7 or 9) and paired the wines... we got a bit drunk but that’s ok right? Although the feel is awesome and the service is lovely it’s the food that Yuma (Persian / German and brought up in France) has created which is the reason we will be going back again... and again! Inspired gastronomic inventions that included slow cooked eggs and asparagus in a cherry tomatoe reduction, oysters cooked two ways and an amazing bit of duck cooked and tasting perfect! The price tag is relatively high £100pp roughly (it could be less if you didn’t pair the wines) but it’s worth it and you wouldn’t pay less in anywhere else of a similar quality. I just hope not too many people find out about this place for fear of not getting a table again!! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Food was wonderful and great atmosphere. They get the mix between formal dining and relaxed ambiance just right. Chef came out to check the meat was all exactly how we wanted it and nothing was too much trouble. John looked after us perfectly and could not recommend it enough. A pint afterwards at the Hand & Shears a great pub 100 yards away. MoreOpenTable Diner -
