Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Washington DC

Highly recommend trying and or returning to this restaurant for an amazing meal. Andrew was our server for the evening. We went slightly after happy hour as a family of three. Andrew promptly greeted us at our table and provided some great recommendations for flights to try prior to ordering larger pours. We then order three different appetizers/ sharables which were all made with seasonal and fresh ingredients and paired amazingly well with our wine. Then for dinner we had freshly made and hot pizza for the table, a delicious salmon dish with shaved Brussels and a kids entree which was a perfect portion. We finished with a dessert that was perfectly warm and scrumptious. Overall the experience was tasty and server was very attentive. Noise level made it easy to still have a conversion and yet the modern vibe was energetic and fun. Highly recommend checking this place out. Great for a date night, lunch/ dinner with a colleague, or catch up with friends.

Nice atmosphere and good food, service was a little slow especially in bringing the drinks out before we ordered food when the place wasn't that crowded at 5:45-6PM on a Friday. Plan to come back for a tasting room experience.

We sat next to very loud group of people. Our waitress was very nice and was very attentive to us. The food was delicious.

Had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the chef make everything. Since we went on a Monday, wine was market price, so we enjoyed the salmon special and pork chop with a bottle of wine. Too bad they're closing the restaurant portion, because we would definitely go back. Looking forward to taking some cooking classes there though!
