Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in The Plains

Beautiful location for a great brunch. I highly recommend putting the Goodstone Inn on your list for a lovely Sunday brunch.

I had a waiter name Patrick that was just wonderful. I went by myself and it was very cozy and I especially loved the scallops.

We made our first visit to this iconic 5-star restaurant with 18 sleeping quarters in the heart of Virginia's Hunt Country, a few miles north of Middleburg in Loudoun County, Virginia. We were there for a wine dinner in their conservatory featuring Virginia's finest winery, Linden, and its winemaker, Jonathan Weber. The five courses were superb and well paired with the wine. The staff and service were what you would expect of the Goodstone Inn. It's a bit remote for many people (we live nearby, so it's not for us), but you cannot experience the best of Virginia and Loudoun County without a visit and/or stay at the Goodstone Inn. It is worth every penny. Their wine list and their cellar are fantastic and well-priced. Many of their ingredients are grown on premises.

We ordered the steak with scallops and shrimp specials. They were very tasty and perfectly cooked. We always started with bang bang shrimp and sashimi tuna and martinis. They were also delicious. The Gainesville Bonefish Grill is a perfect place for date night with family and friends. Always, the waiters were knowledgeable and attentive. We have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience with the foods quality and service.
