I absolutely loved China Chilcano! We happened to find it on a Tuesday and needed an early dinner prior to an evening tour. Lucky for us Tuesdays are Dim Sum all day and the selection was excellent. We had a plate of traditional Siu Mai and one of Kam Lu Wantán, crispy shrimp-pork dumplings, as appetizers. I had the Concolón with perfectly cooked (in a black skillet) crispy fried rice, pork belly, egg, lap chong sausage, shiitake mushroom, bok choy, rocoto. Mixed up tableside. My 15 year old grandson had the Lomo Saltado beef filet, tomato, soy sauce, aji amarillo peppers, potato, onions. Delicious. Fantastic drink menu - I had a Pisco Sour and a 5-Spice Old Fashioned - the selection of liquors is extraordinary. My grandson had Sprite (Mexican) with real cane sugar. We skipped desert in order to make it to our tour. I highly recommend China Chilcano!

Bustling but delicious! You wouldn’t have known it was a Monday night by the packed tables and hustling waitstaff. Our party of three enjoyed a fantastic meal sampling the flavors of the Mediterranean. Our hummus was brought to the table so quickly after we’d ordered, it seemed like they’d intuited our plans. Every dish was somehow even better than the last. Felafel, lamb, shrimp, shish taouk - all fabulous! Not to mention the airy, pillowy pitas that never ran out. Service was a bit impersonal, but efficient. We’re already looking forward to our return.
