- KKevinVIPSouth Carolina •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLast time we came here, we had a horrible experience with the wait staff. This time, we told the manager (Marisa) about our previous visit and she treated us like VIPs. Out waiter Timothy was much better than last time and the food and drinks were amazing. Marissa even comped our entire meal! Wren definitely made up for the bad birthday experience!More infoWrenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Tysons Corner / McLean•4.7

We were celebrating my dad's 80th birthday and he LOVED it; he said he had never had such a special meal. From the champagne we were greeted with, to the gold leaf on the first piece of fish, to the aged wagyu with truffles, it was all fantastic. Also, the staff noticed that my dad is a Japanese national and asked me to write out his name in kanji, which the pastry chef then re-created in chocolate to write a personalized happy birthday message in Japanese that came out with the final course. That was an incredibly special touch and we were so moved.More infoModanPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Tysons•4.7
- JJeniWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 21, 2025We were excited to finally try this place out, as it’s been on our list for a while. The staff was welcoming, and the restaurant was beautiful and inviting. We went there with our kids, and it took me a minute, but there was a giant mural of a naked woman on the wall, which I found odd for a restaurant. The service was a bit slow. There was only one or two other tables at the time. I'm not sure if they are in the middle of training, but it just felt a bit off. Everyone was kind, but overall, the service was a little lacking. The menu we saw posted here was not the menu we were given, so I would suggest you look at their site for a current menu. We found the menu to be very limited, especially if dining with kids. The food was good, and portions were good, but I just wish there were more options to choose from. The menu had a backside offering food from their sister restaurant which offers Palestinian food which also was odd to me as we went there for the great Peruvian food I had heard about. All in all food was good but we would likely not return.More infoEl Secreto de RositaPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Downtown•4.3
