Each dish was beautiful and delicious. We had the snap pea side as an appetizer with the salmon crudo, pork chop with morel mushrooms, a burger - the layer cake and a perfect scoop of house made mocha ice cream. If we could have eaten more, I'm sure we would have. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I started with the fried pork/shrimp wontons, which were overly fried -- too brown and crunchy, but very tasty nonetheless. Main course was the seared ahi tuna. This cooked perfectly and delicious. The accompanying salad, although creative, was dry in the mouth because of the mint, and pretty plain without the mint. Dessert was the Douglas signature triple coconut cream pie -- complete perfection. So, overall, did not meet my full expectations for a TD restaurant, but a good place to eat. I will probably go back to try other appetizers and entrees before writing a full review. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I have been to Purple a number of times and enjoy the ambiance, the attentive staff and the menu variety. I took a couple of business associates and they were very happy with the meal and experience. Without reservation (no pun intended), I would recommend Purple. MoreOpenTable Diner -
I hadn't eaten there before but the salad I had was excellent. However, the only minor problem was that one of our party had the barley and kale? salad and there was almost no barley in it, but the female waitperson was excellent and took care of it and brought extra barley to the table which made her salad excellent. I loved the karaoke, didn't realize they had it here. And the sports TV's were excellent for keeping up on the mariners score too. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We had very good service and food-as noted in a number of reviews- the salmon is exceptional. Wine selection is modest for by the glass options. We were lucky to have a nice table with a view. Casual atmosphere- but good spot for a business dinner. We had a very good waitress on a very hot day. . MoreOpenTable Diner -
Excellent food, service and ambience. We really enjoyed this relatively new restaurant in the Loews Hotel. Beautiful decor, attentive and friendly service and very good comments by all in our party. We are looking forward to trying out Happy Hour next time! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Delicious Food, Nice setting. Very friendly staff. I will probably come back but I would definitely warn anyone eating there watch out. They automatically add the tip and don't make much of a note of it, so I did not realize until later they got me for about a 45% tip. that left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. (Not literally, the pastas and food are excellent) MoreOpenTable Diner -
We had a superb dining experience. Our server was Alvaro who was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wines they serve. My husband and I enjoyed the calamari-it’s the best! We also enjoyed linguini with seafood and grilled seafood with Yukon potatoes and broccolini!! The dessert was superb-had cannoli, tiramisu and raspberry sorbet with cream. We walked in and immediately assumed that we were going to get a “Friday’s restaurant” type experience - kitschy restaurant with lower quality food. We were wrong. Kitschy restaurant? Yes. Food quality? Really good. Everything from the burgers to the kids cheese pizza to the salmon on a bed of mixed greens was delicious. And, we were totally impressed that The Pike Pub makes their own catsup (or now has it made for them) and that they are a no GMO, no high fructose corn syrup restaurant. Our kids were happy and the adults were happy which is sometimes a hard combination! The service was excellent and our server was very knowledgeable as well as very accommodating to special requests. Definitely recommended for family dining. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Terrific service, very nice staff, and a great location make this place worth a stop. The food choices are mixed between breakfast and lunch/dinner as they serve breakfast all day. Its not a gourmet house, by any means, but just good food prepared correctly and served by a talented team. Well worth the price and the location is perfect to eat before or after a game. We took my mom to Frolik for Mother's Day because we knew there would be a stunning view on a gorgeous day. Everything was fantastic on the patio! The only thing I would recommend is that the patio has some umbrellas or something, because we seriously got sunburned from being out there for 2+ hours. Also, offering more vegan options would be really helpful! MoreOpenTable Diner -
