About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions

  • Great for fine wines
* Authentic Cuisine: From Northern Italy to Seattle*
Since its inception, Tulio has been a regular on restaurant awards lists, thanks in no small part to Chef Walter Pisano, whose cooking is inspired as much by his travels through the Old World as his Italian roots. Tulio’s dishes are simple yet sophisticated, combining rustic Italian preparations with local ingredients to create bold flavors and an unforgettable dining experience. Recognizing that our guests have different tastes and dining preferences, we proudly offer several gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes on each of our daily menus. If you have any food allergies or other special requests, please let us know.

Would be better with more menu choices. Specials we’re not explained by our waiter but we heard another.

For an Italian restaurant, there were zero traditional Italian entrees to choose from. Every entree was meat heavy - pork, lamb, chicken, etc. I ordered a special lamb ragu pasta - as it was the only pasta option - and it tasted like a Thai curry pasta. Heavy peanut and chili oil flavor. No Italian flavor at all. For a $200 meal, with appetizers and entrees, this experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will never eat here again. I wish I went to the Pink Door.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. My sister and I had dinner here before we went to the theater. Service was great. We ordered the lamb shank and pork chop confit. Both were delicious. Our server was wonderful. He knew the menu and answered out questions. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience. Everything is so well done.

No vegan options. Way over-priced. Very old-fashioned atmosphere. My vegan friend was given a plate of arugula and an oil- based dressing for $18. Apparently that was all the chef could think of for a vegan - ridiculous.

Excellent pasta and roast chicken. Also the lamb ragout special of the day was delicious. Disappointed that there were no fish options last night. Also felt like our server rushed us through salad and entrees, but otherwise a good experience.

The hostess was absolutely phenomenal and so kind (deserves a shout out!). The food was okay, but for what we paid it was overpriced and under-portioned. We had been looking forward to going to Tulio for weeks but we will, unfortunately, not be going back. The ambience and hostess could not have been more wonderful, though.

Four of us went to Tulio’s last Thursday night and it was busy but under control. It’s a great authentic Italian restaurant and the food is always good. It looked like a mixture of hotel guests and locals who joined for dinner. I said it before and I will say it again, the Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Sage & Mascarpone is just delicious. It is great to share with four people but you may end up wanting more. We were lucky to have Daniella as our server again. She is friendly, patient, offers menu advice, and has a fun sense of humor.

Absolutely amazing dinner. Served was excellent and the food was out of this world. Sweet potato gnocchi, halibut, ribeye, and the homemade pasta were all amazing. Limoncello flight at the end to cap it off. Awesome

I think this is a neighborhood gem, but wish they would bring back the sweet potato gnocchi. The salad choices are too limited for those who do not like Arugula. Great bread. Nice specials. Always a fresh fish. I will go back!
