We had various people in our party with various food allergies and you all were most accommodating. Limani has become one of our favorite places for a special occasion ❤️.More infoLimani - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Southwest Waterfront•4.5
- LLaraCaribbean •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe recently dined at Kaliwa, and overall, it was an outstanding experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was incredibly attentive, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor—clearly crafted with care and fresh ingredients. The only downside is that it’s a bit on the pricey side. While the quality certainly justifies the cost, it might not be a place you’d visit regularly if you’re on a budget. That said, for a special occasion or a treat-yourself moment, it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!More infoKaliwaPrice: Moderate• Asian• Southwest Waterfront•3.4

- BBillVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoNeed I say more when you mention the name "Gordon Ramsey"? But, there are a few things to consider when visiting. Yes the service is impeccable and the food outstanding but there's more to it than just those two things when visiting a restaurant and a higher scale one at that. We eat out a lot and at many levels of types of restaurants but make sure to check what you get charged for. For instance, no one wants sink water to drink and to "trick" you into getting bottled water to drink just isn't right. Charge me for a small bottle, fine but to be asked if you'd like bottled water then they come out with a giant glass bottle and charge you $9 for it is absurd and we only barely drank any (there's only 2 of us by the way). We didn't even have any alcohol either and we got socked for $11 each for a glass of lychee flavored soda on top of the $9 dollar bottle of water we didn't drink. Next none of the entrees come with barely anything else so when you ask for one from the menu, out comes a small thin-rimmed dish of potatoes that you could finish in a few bites for $15. Yes, I planned on paying a lil more of course for the name and the service and good food, but $74 for a small baseball-sized beef Wellington? Oh the dessert? $15 for a 2"x4" rectangle of cheesecake with a few blueberries. Really? What the kicker was the fact that they charged us an additional 20% service charge of the subtotal which came to $271.00. Add that service charge and your bill is now $352.30. Tax is in there as well ($27.10) but there was NO need for that service charge and you haven't even tipped yet. Are you kidding me? Total paid including tip was $432.30! Yes I can easily pay for this 30 times over and I still tipped my server $80 but that's so not the point. If you want the business especially in this day and age, DON'T take advantage like that!More infoGordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Southwest Waterfront•4.5

Discover Southwest Waterfront
The Southwest Waterfront of the Washington Channel from Fisherman's Wharf to Fort McNair is a prime location offering restaurants and nightly live entertainment. The waterfront is evolving into 3 million square feet of residences, offices, restaurants, and retail stores. The Fish Market Eatery, established in 1805, serves freshly caught blue crabs and other seafood, vegetables, and desserts with a "monumental view" of our nation's capitol. Restaurants and grills on the Channel evolved from family-owned multimillion dollar seafood packers. You're also surrounded by international cuisine. French, Indian, and Italian cafes and bistros bake bread and cut homemade pasta on their premises for authentic old world flavor. Wines of the world compliment your entrée and your choice of dessert.
