   Lunch at The Grill was enjoyable, as the Cobb salad and cheeseburger were very tasty, service was attentive, and we had a nice view of Washington Marina from the enclosed outdoor patio. The fries were especially good due to the unique flavoring. Prices are a bit high, but this is to be expected at any Washington Wharf restaurant. I would return for a meal the next time I am in the area.

   Our large group had to separate reservations made and the staff kindly put tables together for us without us asking them to. Both the food and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

   Frozen shrimp cocktail shrimp were tough and smelled horrible- the lobster roll made my girlfriend physically sick to her stomach an hour later. I ordered a tuna steak, that came out with grill marks and ice cold and rare inside, i ordered a tuna steak not ahi tuna or sushi. Over all not impressed with the place not to mention an automatic 20% tip added to the bill.. will not be back here

   The food was great. The server we had was a bit surly. Don't think she liked her job. The seating was more cozy than we cared for. You could certainly hear conversations on both sides of our table.

    The Grill became our favorite place for outdoor dining during the pandemic. This was our first time back in many months and they did not disappoint. The service from the entire staff was impeccable. The steak, bronzino, and crab cakes were excellent.

    Excellent Sunday brunch here - mostly for the extraordinary service of Mark W. Super charming smile, gracious service and all the patience in the world. He let my old friend - a guy from Ghana I had not seen in 5+ years - and I go on and on without haste even when we had clearly wrapped the dining part of brunch. I'd come again just to see him.

    My second time at the grill came with my mother and we both loved it. Had a great meal and one of the best Gin Martinis I’ve had in a long time. If you didn’t know the Grill has an extensive gin list and makes a hell of a drink. Brandon was our server and he was great. He was professional, friendly and very helpful for our entire experience.

    Our server was friendly. The cocktail I had was delicious (Sour Puss). However, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the rustic bread and soup of the day, French onion. You can't go wrong with bread, but the soup was very salty and inedible- we sent it back with no issues. My wife had the scallops, and they were overcooked. I had a burger, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. For dessert, we had the Pavlova. Unfortunately, I didn't know it had almonds, and I am allergic to them. However, we never discussed allergies, and the description doesn't indicate the Pavlova is topped with almonds. All in all, the quality didn't match the value. Customer service was great, and the ambiance was nice, but I don't know if we’d go back.

    I love The Grill, that was my 3rd visit within 6 months. The service was excellent!!! My waitress was amazing, she made our family feel special. I beat myself for not remembering the name of the waitress. I was seating by the bar that night on March 5th. The managers were hands on. I will 1000% go back.

    Nothing really well done at this expensive restaurant. Salad sounded good, but lacked diversity in texture and was uninteresting. Scallops were ok if a little undercooked. The mushrooms piled up and served with them seemed like an afterthought or leftovers from a steak accompaniment. I ordered the scallops because the server told me they were excellent. They were not. Ordered a glass of white wine from a very expensive and meager offering of wines by the glass. I left half of the wine unfinished as I did with the entree as both were poor. This restaurant needs more attention to their product. Would not recommend. I did share my concerns with my server and he was friendly but uninterested in trying to address any of the issues.

    The Grill was ok, we arrived a little early and was immediately seated. We opted for the covered outdoor seating. Service was really good as we were brought water within seconds of arriving to our seats. The waiter was really friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and even offered suggestions based off of our questions. The food was ok and we, my wife and I were really enjoying ourselves and even looking forward to a coffee and dessert following our entree until the unthinkable happened. It was two birds perched over our table, as the patio is covered but not entirely closed. One of the birds pooped onto our table into one of our plates and that abruptly ended our meal. We informed our waiter and asked for our check. We were mostly finished, but had intended to stay longer until the incident with the birds. The manager did come to our table as we paid the check and offered his apologies, but we were really ready to go. So the service was great, the food ok; but they should really address the issues with the birds in that area of the outdoor seating. After it happened we looked around did notice where it was several spots in that general area where it had happened before.

    Waiter was fabulous and everything was fine. Just seemed pricey and I was really hard to believe it cost me 28 dollars to park!! No validations- I had NO options. That bothered me.

    The Grill never disappoints. It is one of our favorite DC area restaurants. The Jasper grill really does make a difference. We had the dates, sweet potatoes and lamb chops for appetizers and each was delicious. For out entrees we selected the salmon, flank steak (express) and branzino ( warning with skin and bones) and crab cakes. For dessert the pavlova, and an espresso martini. Each and every dish or drink was wonderful and I would recommend them all.

    Great location, great space, great service (almost ridiculously good). The food itself was a bit average. My burger was overdone, the fish sliders were underdone, the calamari was bland. Not bad value for a lunch time deal and I’d want to just come back for how lovely everyone was.

    I am in town visiting my childhood friend and wanted to enjoy a good evening by the wharf. Upon a quick search on Yelp, I found The Grill, easily got a same day reservation, and we were in. The ambience was warm, welcoming, but also intimate. Even though it was pretty busy, we arrived before our reservation, found a seat at the bar, enjoyed a good cocktail, and soon we were seated for dinner. I throughly enjoyed my time here and will be back again! cocktail: sonic the grapefruit appetizer/“to begin”: crispy calamari entree: the grill burger

    Went with my third child - we have been there with the other two kids and love this restaurant! Our favorite is the mixed grill, which gives you a taste of the appetizers, entrees and desserts. We love this place and will be back with the kids significant others!

    We have been here before but this time we had an excellent waiter who took great care of us. Brandon was very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks down to details and his recommendations were perfect choices. We were seated quickly, greeted by a manager during the meal, and food was timely before a show at the Anthem. I wasn’t a fan of their Caesar salad but we enjoyed everything else!
