The elements have remained unchanged over the centuries: a fragrant pot of tea, a succession of sweets and delicate sandwiches, fine china, fresh flowers and delighted laughter. From December 1st, our wonderful Lounge will convert to a casual dining venue from 7.30pm daily, allowing our guests to experience an exquisite food offering in our iconic setting.

Nestled in the former basement of historical Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club, we have taken great pleasure in refurbishing our own piece of this prestigious building, originally built in 1756. Our beautifully designed space offers 4 intimate rooms in which to drink and be merry (and a little mischievous).

The name, “Gursha,” refers to the Ethiopian tradition of feeding others as an act of friendship and love. Central to the menu is injera, a gluten-free sourdough flatbread made from 100% Teff flour, used to scoop up a variety of stews and curries such as Doro Wat (spicy chicken stew) and Misir Wat (lentil stew).
