It is difficult to define exactly what l’Gueuleton means but the words ‘feast’, ‘food’, ‘family’, ‘friends’ and of course ‘wine’ help us to understand a concept that is inherently French. We had rabbit and pork belly, but at next visit would order the steaks, since they were ordered at the next table and looked amazing. Everything was very tasty. Pork belly had a lot of fat, but that's to be expected. Mille feuille dessert was sooo good.

Food was great and delicious, but the serving time of each dish may take some time. Steaks (Rump and Rib eye) are amazing very tender! Bone marrow cooked to perfection and desserts are tasty and well balanced. Great place to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary.

We really enjoyed our meal at Bouef and Frites. The menu is simple by design. They want you to order fast and get serving you. Make sure to make a booking as we saw many people turned away who did not have bookings. There is bottomless garlic bread to start with a bearnaise sauce that was really tasty. We both went for the filet steaks which were cooked just as we wanted and nice and tender. The peppercorn and red wine just sauces were very tasty. There is bottomless fries but the portions are large in the first place and we didn't need any more. We had to make sure to keep some room for the profiteroles. Service was great. The menu said a 10% gratuity is included but it wasn't when we got our bill so if you want to leave a tip don't assume it's included like the menu says. Ancient was nice. It was quiet and not too loud. Very good value and really tasty food, we will definitely be back.
