Faber Wine & Seafood Restaurant
Precio: Caro•Pescados y Mariscos•4.7(123)Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores; although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name, it also has a very British name - John Dory.
Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ and as Smith is the most common name in English, we decided it sits well with our ethos - we want to be accessible to all.
Setting us apart from the rest is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. This means that everything on our menu is fresh, sustainably sourced, and supports the local economy.
Our chef Ollie Bass believes in creating dishes that are not only delicious but also ethical and responsible.

Precio: Moderado•Británica•4.7(45)Situated down a quiet side street, on the corner of elegant St Peter’s Square, The Carpenter’s Arms is an independent nineteenth-century pub with a beautiful garden where the food is the star.
We focus on simple, beautifully cooked seasonal food. Our menu and Specials Board change daily: Simply cooked sustainable fish; British meats; delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes and tempting puddings to finish. Simple dishes, big flavours.
We are just as serious about good drink as we are about good food. Our well stocked bar helps keep the relaxed and convivial spirit of a local boozer very much alive.
We operate a rotating list of guest real ales, as well as world wines from just under £30 a bottle. We also serve the only cocktails worth filling the glass for – a negroni for lunch, a martini before dinner, an Old Fashioned when you need a stiff drink, a Margarita for when you want to pretend you’re on holiday and a Bloody Mary for the morning after.

Precio: Caro•Hindú•4.4(568)Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu containing all three elements. Our starters are street food classics on pavements in India and Pakistan. Our grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace. Our curries are inspired by the railway cooks on train journeys in India.
Founder and Head Cook Puneet Wadhwani, has created a never-before-seen menu bringing to life the snacks and dishes he once ate as a child growing up within a bicycle ride of New Delhi train station.

The mussel in xo were devine. The pollock, jersey royals with boullabase was simply delicious. Cod cheek skewers with tartar sauce were perfectly cooked. The haddock fish and chips had the most incredible crispy batter, and the haddock just melted in the mouth. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.
