The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Nel complesso un ottimo ristorante, essenziale negli spazi (ecco perché un po rumoroso) ma eccellente nei piatti proposti. Menu corto (che per me è una cosa positiva) e prodotti di prima qualità. Ci ritornerò sicuramente!

Abbiamo cenato nella sala con i divani verdi vicino ad una finestra con le piante e il canniccio sul soffitto. c'era freddo veniva aria fredda anche se la finestra era chiusa. Troppo chiasso nel locale la gente grida per parlarsi La cameriera molto brava sul Cibo è quello che c'è scritto, niente di meno ma nulla di più.

Ottimo filetto alla Wellingto, ma molto costoso. Un po’ scortese l’invito ad ordinare velocemente poiché la cucina avrebbe chiuso. Sarebbe meglio avvisare prima dell’arrivo sugli orari di chiusura della cucina.

Ostriche eccellenti, ottimi cocktail (provate il lavander cooler), staff gentile e preparato. Nonostante l'ambiente sia molto bello e nel cuore di south Kensington, ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
