Major Tom in Calgary offers an exceptional dining experience, starting with stunning views from the 40th floor that set the perfect atmosphere. The food is equally impressive, with the stuffed chicken wings being a standout—delicious and packed with flavor. We also loved the cheese toast, which was perfectly crisp and rich. The combination of great food and an unbeatable view makes Major Tom a must-visit!

Upon arrival we were seated near the window that looked out on 2nd Street. Our server, Brad, greeted us quickly after we seated and was attentive throughout the evening. We began with the beet salad which was outstanding. I had the clam linguine which was delicious and had a generous amount of clams. The linguine was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately my husband's cavatelli was not as well cooked and a little under done for his liking. Being that it was otherwise delicious (and my husband not overly fussy) he gobbled it up anyways. We ended the night sharing the tiramisu, which was also delicious and a large portion (perfect for sharing). Overall we enjoyed our experience and will look forward to going back.

Sarah was such a great server, and that’s coming from a table of servers! Very attentive, super sweet and made us feel very welcome. Didn’t rush us at all when we took forever to decide what we wanted and gave great recommendations. Food was so good, the Brussels sprouts dish was unbelievably tasty, same with the gnocchi

Our experience at Hy’s Steak was fabulous. Our server, Dino, was attentive, friendly, excellent and knowledgeable! We were there for my wife’s birthday dinner. He helped us pick the wine to pair with our steaks and sides. The overall atmosphere was chill, yet, the restaurant was busy. What a great spot for a fantastic date night meal! We will definitely be back. As for Dino… he is the best!!

We had a lovely dinner. The beef lovers were in heaven. I had the salmon and it was a the crust and tomato salad were delicious, but the salmon was slightly overcooked.
