Major Tom is elevated yet approachable, excellent and at ease, confident and gracious. The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

    Our first time going and they did not disappoint. Great food and drink.

    The place is beautiful, great atmosphere and great views of the city. We face west looking out to Canada Olympic Park which is the nicer side in our opinion. The staff were amazing, loved our waitress. The potato donut is incredible here. But the mains were kind of average and the price for the view no longer matches. 1.5 years ago the food was much better.

    Another excellent meal and visit to see Major Tom. This place is “Top Shelf” at the top of the building. Too bad the smoke impaired the view of anything! Not Major Tom’s fault!!

    Booked this for a late dinner for business associate and me. Perfect setting up high to enjoy a view of the city. Food was good and the staff were attentive. Overall appreciative.

    Everything was good but only downside is waiting the food way to long. More than 45 minutes to get main menu from appetizers. Couple servers came to our table said the food will be ready shortly and another one came said in 5 minutes, but ended more than 15 min. Vibe, service dine experience all perfect.

    Steak was very below average. Chicken wings are strange and semi warm.

    We had a wonderful celebratory dinner last night. David was our server, who was knowledgeable and very professional. The drinks recommendations were good, we enjoyed the potato donuts and Caesar salad for starters, followed by steak frite, half chicken and gnocchi with burrata cheese. For dessert we enjoyed the old fashioned baked Alaska and apple tartin. The birthday card on the table was a thoughtful touch. We really enjoyed the evening, we requested a window seat which provided a lovely view of the sky line and city. We will be back.

    Overall excellent experience. Great food, with a good variety of choices. Terrific cocktails. Friendly, attentive, but always professional service. Beautiful views.

    Great restaurant with a great vibe. Service at the bar is excellent. Steak tartare, beet salad, and rigatoni are excellent.
