   There is no doubt the D.O.P delivers a good culinary experience. In my opinion, the service needs to improve, it’s adequate at best. Not what I would describe as friendly, welcoming, inviting. I’d describe the service as transactional.

   The food and drinks are amazing!! The restaurant is very small with a cool vibe. The service is great!! The music is loud …. we enjoyed the old school tunes. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving some Italian food. The food is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!

   We were given D.O.P. as a recommendation from our hostess at our lunch venue. Very small...room for just 38 people. The flavors that came out of the miniature kitchen were phenomenal. The bread and whipped ricotta are a MUST to start. We had the nightly special. Plates are shared and you won't leave hungry. Fabulous experience!

   The food and atmosphere were great, but what stood out most was our server. I can't remember his name unfortunately but both my friend and I absolutely loved him. He was so kind and helpful and made the experience 10000 times better. Give that man a raise!

    The food is absolutely incredible! My wife and I had the grilled bread, the meatballs(best meatballs we've ever had), the special, raviolo, and the tiramisu for dessert. You can't go wrong with any of these choices! Each item comes out one at a time due to the small kitchen, so plan on sharing everything!

    Very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Very charming in a tight space. It was a bit warm (perhaps it’s not set up for air conditioning) but it was still quite comfortable. My wife and I ordered one dish from each menu category and we shared. Food was excellent.

    D.O.P continues to be the best Italian style shareable dining experience in the city. Service is amazing, and the staff truly goes above and beyond to provide an amazing dining experience. The food tastes amazing and they have a great menu, their cocktails are super unique, and especially cool that they make their own canned cocktails in house. Combine this with the staffs amazing recommendations and it’s the perfect dining experience for any occasion. Can’t wait for the next time we’re at D.O.P!

    We were a little skeptical heading into our reservation (weren’t sure about all the hype) but it was quickly changed by the phenomenal service, friendly staff, delicious food and amazing food sharing experience! This place has definitely moved into my top 5 favourite places to dine!!

    I heard a lot about this restaurant and overall I found it average. The service was friendly and promo. We had delicious cocktails. The fresh bread was awesome. But the ricotta cheese spread was bland. It needed salt. Which is not provided on the table. The meatballs were very good but not the best I've had. The tajarin was ok but the noodles were overcooked. I enjoy a nice al dente. I love Italian food and cook it often. I have a high standard and unfortunately this place did not live up to the hype.     Nice little place in the YYC belt lne. Food was nice, wine menu was really good without being pretentious or overwhelming. Cocktails were impressive. Restaurant is very cozy which might contribute to the noise level.

    I was here a few weeks ago for my birthday and when looking for a place to eat dinner with some friends before the theatre, I suggested we go here. The food and service were stellar both times. One friend mentioned she would have to come back with her husband so he could eat the food. It really is that good! Looking forward to future meals at DOP.

    The menu is very confusing for someone who’s not familiar with Italian food and meal structure. We were so confused and the server gave us what felt like minimal guidance. Despite that, the food was amazing. I can’t believe what they were putting out from the tiny kitchen. The truffle pasta was creamy and rich, just how I like it. The appetizer/snack spreads were delicious and worked so well together (once you figure out what’s happening). The portion was generous. I would be happy to return and try some more dishes.

    There are no words! Only closed eyes while you place fresh bread slathered in whipped ricotta and good olive oil into your face hole! Followed by my obscene addiction to the panzanella salad with that tangy dressing (please bottle and sell it!) The pastas are always next level. And while I appreciate the ever changing pasta menu, at times it saddens me when I crave one from months back. But that’s not complaining, oh no! That’s excitement for always knowing there’s something new to try! The staff are next level magic! Luv you all!
