- JJaniceGlasgow/Lanarkshire •1 review4.0Dined 5 days agoEnjoyed lunch with friends at The Ivy, the restaurant is very nice inside. On arrival I didn’t find the staff particularly friendly, they appeared quite formal with no smiles. We sat downstairs which had a nice ambiance. I had the French onion soup to start which was very tasty and quite filling followed by fish and chips, the chips were a little disappointing as it looked as though I may have gotten what looked like the end of a frozen packet of chips with lots of small broken pieces of chips. I didn’t have any room for dessert so finished with a coffee. It’s not cheap to eat and drink at The Ivy but it’s a nice place to catch up with friends now and again😀A service charge is added to your bill.More infoThe Ivy Buchanan Street GlasgowPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Glasgow•4.5

Good choice of dishes (though menu has not changed since previous visit) and all quality ingredients attractively presented. Especially enjoyed the seafood stew &chocolate cremeux. Good choice of wines by the glass too. Excellent value on market menu - less than £60 for 3 courses for 2 plus drinks. Staff friendly and attentive, venue very clean and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended- but do book as we saw people having to be turn3d away, so they missed a treat.More infoArdnamurchanPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Glasgow•4.7
