Best Italian Restaurants in Maynard
In Winter of 2017, as the feather-like snowflakes gently touched the ground with the icy Northeast air whistling in the background, Battle Road Brew House opened its doors in a historic mill that was once the largest woolen factory in the world. The Brew House overlooks Mill Pond in Maynard and has an interior capacity of 250 featuring a large bar, full dining room, patio seating, and private tasting rooms for meetings & events.
Taking inspiration from its revolutionary roots, Battle Road Brew House is not your typical brewpub. With a shared focus on beer-friendly foods from both sides of the Mason-Dixon, the menu is balanced with equal parts real pit Southern BBQ (think slow smoked ribs meat from multiple hardwood smokers and homemade sauces and rubs) and distinctly New England seafood like clams, chowder, fried fish, seafood boils, and more.
Located just 20 miles to the west of Boston, Maynard is a charming riverside suburb. Chock-full of New England atmosphere, Maynard boasts a historic Main Street, a quaint shopping district and an impressive selection of restaurants. Befitting its historic roots, Maynard has plenty of regional American favorites, ranging from New England clam chowder to surf-and-turf platters. Seafood restaurants are also popular in Maynard, where you can go get fresh haddock, Cape scallops and soft shell crab. For something a little more exotic, Maynard residents turn to Vietnamese restaurants, Mexican eateries and Thai places. You can also enjoy going to local sports bars on game day, where you'll snack on everything from sliders to shrimp tacos.
