Michelle was outstanding server. Salmon was enhanced by a buttery sauce. Petrale Sole was to perfection. Green beans and red potatoes excellent. The Bloody Mary on special with the "well vodka" was disappointing > I should have gone with my favorite Tito's vodka. Overall, a favorite restaurant for excellent seafood.

We started the New Year with dinner out. We were very pleased with our experience. The hostess was very pleasant & we were shown to a great booth. I love the high walled & padded booth as you have a quieter & more private space. Our server was very well informed & helpful. She was quick to take care of us but also allowed us to dine uninterrupted. We both had the prime rib and it was fabulous. They were thick cuts prepared perfectly & absolutely delicious. Sides were a baked potato and green beans. We passed on dessert as we were quite satisfied with our meal.

We’ve been going to Cafe Nell over several years & are fond of the place. The outdoor sidewalk seating is great! We love the cozy interior, but won’t eat inside during Covid/flu season. My husband liked his hamburger salad & I enjoyed my cocktail & French Pinot Noir, but my steak Caesar salad was uninspired. The 3 oz steak was on the side of the plate with a pile of romaine sprinkled with Parmesan. The dressing was good & the steak cooked to perfection, but I’d have added some cherry tomatoes for a dash of color, & sliced the steak atop the greens. I felt like no time was invested in making the salad appealing. Our waiter was very nice & explained that the restaurant has been through a number of staff changes, including the chefs, so wasn’t surprised by my reaction.

Truly amazing service; the staff was welcoming & sincere in making sure we had a good, positive experience. Our server was professional, knowledgable, and friendly. The food was beyond our expectations! Sooo incredibly delicious! This was our first time there, and we didn't know what to expect, and it truly surprised us. Clean, quiet, intimate environment, but saw families/casual dining as well. Would be a great place for a date; the bar was upscale and looked fun. My favorite: their seasonal Hot Apple Cranberry Cider, perfect for fall dining. The prices, $$$, to be expected of a higher end steak house, but honestly worth every cent for the personable service, well prepared & delicious food. We chose prime rib (excellent) and baby back ribs (omg!), and the steelhead chowder (Wow)! Don't pass this one up, if you are in the mood for steak or seafood, this is the place and it's local! Definitely recommend, easily 5/5 Stars across the board!

New Year’s Day Brunch was wonderful. Great Mimosas, Fabulous mushroom soup with the flavor of many wild mushrooms. The Eggs Benedict were served with a frisée salad with a simple but elegant dressing. The Beignet we shared for desert were piping hot and went well with the pear sauce and crème anglaise. I highly recommend Brunch at Marche Restaurant in Eugene.

This place is always amazing. We started with the mushroom tart and the zucchini fries, both were really tasty but the zucchini fries were crunchy and oh so addictive! For entrees we had the chicken schnitzel and the classic. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but these are favorites for a reason. For an extra treat, start with a cocktail at Alleycat in the alley behind the restaurant! The cocktails are imaginative and absolutely delicious.
