We have eaten many times at The Painted Lady and all our experiences have ben wonderful. This meal was one of the best, such wonderful, seasonal flavors. This was our first time dining at Nostrana. We had tickets to a concert at Revolution Hall that evening and had decided to have a light dinner beforehand, so we made a reservation. We were politely greeted and shown to our table. We found the restaurant to be attractive and upscale, yet it felt comfortable and welcoming. Our server, Ben, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit. Our drink and food orders all arrived within a reasonable time. We really enjoyed the radicchio salad -- it's a standout. We're fans of wood-fired pizza, and we were very pleased with the fresh flavors of the mozzarella cheese and the tomato sauce, as well as the delicious pizza crust. All in all, our visit was delightful. We look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Salmon was prepared perfectly. And the Totten Inlet mussels were also delightful. Shared a vanilla cardamom panna cotta desert, which was a perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommend this downtown Portland restaurant.
