South American
Southwest Portland
Lechon is a South American dining experience that seamlessly combines the fiery cooking of Argentina, Chile and Patagonia, along with creative inspiration of the chef. Enjoy perfectly charred 28-day dry-aged ribeye, grilled octopus with chorizo, housemade piquillo pepper and pork empanadas, slow roasted lechon, refreshing ceviches and smoked bone marrow.

Executive Chef Jaco Smith consistently pushes the boundaries on traditional Latin fare by incorporating wood-fired flavors into his cuisine while boasting a view of the Willamette River that few Portland restaurants can offer. Smith comes from a large family of cattle, sheep and grain farmers. He started cooking at a young age in his mother’s kitchen. His favorite childhood memories include the tastes of dulce de leche, flan and grilled breads, reminiscent of South American flavors and commonly found on South African kitchen tables.

This was our first time dining at Nostrana. We had tickets to a concert at Revolution Hall that evening and had decided to have a light dinner beforehand, so we made a reservation. We were politely greeted and shown to our table. We found the restaurant to be attractive and upscale, yet it felt comfortable and welcoming. Our server, Ben, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit. Our drink and food orders all arrived within a reasonable time. We really enjoyed the radicchio salad -- it's a standout. We're fans of wood-fired pizza, and we were very pleased with the fresh flavors of the mozzarella cheese and the tomato sauce, as well as the delicious pizza crust. All in all, our visit was delightful. We look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

Haven’t been to Higgin’s in a while and last night’s meal showed it is as great as ever. Service was spot on. Shared the asparagus and the snap pea and beet salads. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Salmon was prepared perfectly. And the Totten Inlet mussels were also delightful. Shared a vanilla cardamom panna cotta desert, which was a perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommend this downtown Portland restaurant.

Marché has been at the heart of the Willamette Valley's restaurant scene for more than 25 years– picking up honors from the James Beard Foundation and accolades from the national press along the way. We are most proud of our place in the community, whether it's as a regular lunch spot, a special-occasion date night, a family celebration or a place to gather with friends. We take our name from the French word for market — describing not only our location in Eugene, Oregon’s bustling 5th Street Market, but also our philosophy focused on fresh, seasonal, and local farmer's market fare. Inspired by French technique and committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, our menu evolves as we move through the seasons.

We serve lunch daily in our Parisian-inspired bar, brunch on weekends and dinner seven days a week. In warm weather, our patio is a sunny place to relax with a glass of rosé, surrounded by our herb garden.

THE WAIT STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ATTENTIVE WITHOUT BEING INTRUSIVE! BOTH LUNCH AND DINNERS ARE EQUALLY WELL DONE! WHEN FRIENDS OR BUSINESS ASSOCIATES ARE IN TOWN IT IS THE STOCKPOT THAT WE GO! BESIDES EVERYTHING I MENTIONED THE SCENERY OVERLOOKING THE GOLF COURSE IS SPECTACULAR WITH MATURE CEDAR TREES AND THE LUSH GREEN GRASS MAKES THE MEAL RELAXING ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE IS NO LOUD MUSIC DRONING ON MAKING CONVERSATION UNCOMFORTABLE!

We had a lovely experience dining at Gracie's for a friend's birthday! I would absolutely come here again.
With soaring ceilings and an abundance of elegance and style, Gracie’s exudes Hollywood glamour. Our menus feature unique, classic American fare and innovative locally sourced Pacific Northwest dishes. If you enjoy an intimate brunch with a “friend” – settle into an oversized banquette and let yourself be pampered. We’ll make sure the paparazzi don’t find you. We offer validated parking in both the lot and garage across the street.

Steakhouse
Downtown
Located in the beautiful 8th floor atrium of The Nines Hotel Portland, Urban Farmer was founded on the idea that combining responsibly sourced food, high-quality ingredients and down-to-earth values would create a new kind of steakhouse, where people could create memories and communities could thrive. We're less steak and more house. Our house - and yours.

Loved the ambiance given it was in the hotel atrium, live music, but not intrusive. Great steak and great service!

Northwest
Southeast Portland
A bustling eatery in the Central Eastside industrial neighborhood serving Italian-inspired, local, organic, seasonal, sustainable fare. The large oak-burning oven is the cornerstone of the large open kitchen. Clarklewis has helped define Portland as a food mecca since 2004 as a founder of our local farm-to-table sensibility.

Zack took excellent care of us. The restaurant was very cozy when more people arrive and the sun set.

Comfort Food
Downtown
Already open ten years and counting, this neighborhood establishment is still a go-to for easy drinking, a variety of plates, and overall good times. The frequently updated event calendar keeps the door swinging, and new friends the regulars are always bringing.

Ideal for large groups, the menu features seasonal, global-inspired tavern fare, extensive craft beer offerings and original handcrafted cocktails.

Early and late happy hours keep guests glued to their seats as they get caught up on the latest sports games airing all around the restaurant, and the daily food and drink specials keep locals and visitors alike coming back again and again.

And have you heard the talk about brunch? Those donuts though.

We enjoyed dining outside with a view of the river. The food was fantastic, as always. I had the Chicken Marsala, a favorite of mine there.
