Chamas do Brazil, which means “Flames of Brazil,” is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse. Our special meat roasting method is based on the old gaucho tradition from several centuries ago, known as churrasco. Churrasco was originated in Southern Brazil, where Gauchos (Brazilian Cowboys) pierced different types of meat and grilled them over open flamed pits. The concept is to serve a wide variety of different cuts of beef, lamb, pork, and chicken to each diner individually right at their table.

A meal typically begins with a trip to our amazing salad bar, which consist of over 60 different items of fresh vegetables, homemade dressings, imported cheeses, cured meat, and etc., along with several hot dishes. We also serve a selection of side dishes at your table. The main course will start when you flip your coaster-sized chip from the red side to the green side, signaling the Gaucho Chefs that you’re ready to be served. To stop the service of meat, flip the chip to the red side.

Our waiter was a little over zealous or was just trying to move us way too fast. We just get seated & is asking about our drinks…didn’t give us time to even look at what we might consider to drink. Then, asks about appetizers… we haven’t had time to look. He was pleasant but interrupted too many times.

And for dessert, you can not leave without the “Baked Alaska”, which is beautifully presented ablaze with meringue on top of strawberry and vanilla ice cream, and a fluffy cake. I appreciate the service and overall vibe of this restaurant, and will 10 out of 10 recommend you try The Oceanaire Seafood Room when you’re in town.

This cool oasis is complete with a 20 foot, 5-tiered granite water wall, multi-tiered landscaping, lava rock fire pit, and black granite bar. The food was excellent, the staff was superb, and the noise level was low enough to enjoy my conversation with my girlfriend despite the restaurant having a full house of patrons. It was well worth the 40-minute drive. My girlfriend & I will definitely return.

We had the dray aged ribeye, grilled crab legs, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and warm butter cake. It was all delicious. The steak was prepared perfectly and the flavor was amazing. The crab legs were expensive, but seemed very fresh and wonderful. The sides were also great, especially the asparagus. I like mine a little al dente, but cooked and lightly seasoned. These were perfect. Finally, we were so pleased with the warm butter cake. Somehow they get it moist and rich with a little crunch and the whipped cream and ice cream topping were just right. Our server was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the dishes. One more thing, I thought the wine prices for a bottle were more reasonable than I expected. All-in-all a wonderful evening and a fantastic meal. Well done.

My group of 10 ladies enjoyed greatly our dinner at Del Frisco Grille before we attended the Broadway musical, Moulin Rouge, at Bass Hall on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 5:15 pm. We were thrilled to be seated in the private upstairs dining room where we could talk & hear one another easily! We have been able to be served there in the past and it is always a delightful experience. Our server was very attentive and worked diligently to get our orders out quickly and correctly. She was aware that we were due at Bass Hall by 7 pm and made sure that we finished and paid our bills with time to spare. We will definitely return as this was a fantastic evening for visiting and enjoying superb food and wine!

It was remarkably not very busy on a Sunday evening, but it was the night before Memorial Day. We both had the fried chicken, which was unique and delicious. We chose the fries and the bbq beans as our sides. They were very good, though the beans were more like bean soup. The kale salad included on the fried chicken plate was generous and tasty. We shared the blackberry crumble with browned butter sorbet for dessert. The sorbet was a real treat, and the crumble was chock full of fresh blackberries and had no hint of that syrupy gelatinous goo that so many desserts seem to have. We would eat there again if we’re in Fort Worth again. Very good. Great service. We were a little warm most of the time we were there, and I was surprised the full bar didn’t have any beers on draft.

We chose the fries and the bbq beans as our sides. They were very good, though the beans were more like bean soup. The kale salad included on the fried chicken plate was generous and tasty. We shared the blackberry crumble with browned butter sorbet for dessert. The sorbet was a real treat, and the crumble was chock full of fresh blackberries and had no hint of that syrupy gelatinous goo that so many desserts seem to have. We would eat there again if we’re in Fort Worth again. Very good. Great service. We were a little warm most of the time we were there, and I was surprised the full bar didn’t have any beers on draft.
