Nestled in the “little slice of paradise” that is the historic Tudor City complex in Midtown Manhattan, ours is a “next-generation” steakhouse with a menu that not only showcases premium prime dry-aged on-site beef specialties but international dishes as well, reflecting our location across 1st Avenue from the United Nations. We’re just three blocks from Grand Central Terminal, but it seems a world away in this quiet circa 1927 enclave that was the world’s first high rise residential development.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Consistent, delicious and so reasonable. Family-style portions. One app and one main for 2 people and you are still taking home leftovers. I love the Carmine's Salad, the Fried Calamari, and the Chicken Marsala over Rigatoni. The best!

The stand out from last night was our service. From checking in and letting us go to the table as we came in vs making us wait at the bar, etc is so appreciated these days. And the waitstaff at our table took exemplary care of us for hours. We were a party of 6 with lots of drinks, lots of dishes and they were all over us - never needing a thing. They were so attentive and helpful. It was one of the better service experiences I've had in NYC in years. We were so grateful and kept telling our main server how amazing he was. Food was outstanding, as usual. We had meats, seafoods, lots of vegetables and all were heavenly. This was a special experience.

I had to leave suddenly after ordering an ice tea. The wait staff could not have been more gracious and refused to let me pay for my drink. Thank you to them!
