This place is perfect for a date night, to celebrate a special ocassion, or just mingle with your friends. The noise is low so you can have great talks without the need of raising voice, something hard to find lately. Beautiful decoration. Exceptional yummy food - and as expected - the onion soup is my fave in the cold winter, the caramelized onions, tasty soup, topped with the gratinée and melted cheese, was definetely my best part. The oyster were fresh, kind of big and delicious rich taste; the steak tartare an standout dish, is not easy to find good tartares in the city, this also my fave. I ordered one of the most popular cocktails Fraise Cremeuse, and was delicious, loved it! the other one was la vie in rose, but the fraise was my bestie! The service was neat, attentive, with close attention of what was needed it.

Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Treated us like longtime friends. Had drinks and appetizers at the bar, while waiting for our table. Dinner was excellent, had shrimp scampi (best I’ve ever had) and sautéed broccoli…not a fan of broccoli, but enjoyed this one. Definitely recommend Carmine’s, after a show or meeting friends/family.
