Restaurants near Grand Central Station

We loved everything there were four of us traveling from the Midwest. The music was way too loud to have good conversation. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Returned here after several years away, and it’s better than ever! Not just the very good fried oysters, which haven’t changed, but the fresh fish (Boston scrod, striped bass) and the exceptionally fresh raw bivalves (big, juicy Chincoteagues from Virginia, remarkably fresh Kumimotos from out West) are standouts. The prices seem pretty reasonable, considering. The room is loud during the height of lunch, but the noise seems compartmentalized and is manageable. Service is good, the kitchen slow.

Beautiful place, wonderful food and excellent service.

Fried Calamari were very tasty! Linguine with clams were good but a little bland. Great service and ambience! Noisy but we got a table in the back which was better. Will definitely go back.

Service was spotty but the server who took over after was excellent . They auctioned food at every course !
