Bistro Casanova is smooth, elegant, exquisite and fun. A tropical landscaping refreshes the air surrounding the outside al fresco tables. Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy where the owner comes from. Its menu reaches some classic of the European cuisine: Paella for two, Cioppino, Focaccias, Grigliata plates of grilled meat or fish large enough to share, prime cuts of steaks are between the favorites, next to an excellent selection of pastas and fresh salads.     When we entered, we were greeted with a hostess with a smiling face. Made us feel like we were special. Our waitress was outstanding. I had a Cosmopolitan, our guest had a Long Island Ice Tea. Both good. My husband had a very watered-down Happy Hour Margarita Carafe that was very disappointing. Our Pasta dishes were very good. Again, an Outstanding waitress. The table behind us was 8-10 people so it was Very loud with people, kids up and down from their seats. Next time I will ask for a quieter area when I make the reservations. Very difficult to hear our table with people behind you talking while standing.

    This is the best hidden gem on Maui! The food is handmade and European authentic. Hands down some of the best food we have ever had, and certainly the best on Maui! Highly recommend making a reservation (you must have one) and visiting this quaint little place while on the island. You will NOT regret it!
