Have dined twice, at the Hula Grille, on this trip to Waikiki Beach. Food, service, ambience were outstanding and we had two very enjoyable evenings with beautiful view of Waikiki Beach. Highly recommend!

Chef Takeyuki Nakagawa and the attentive waitstaff made us feel not only welcome but genuinely cared for. Their warmth elevated our entire experience. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between refined minimalism and traditional elegance, enhancing every bite. While every course was meticulously crafted and delicious, two standout favorites stole the show: the Hokkaido Uni Risotto, a comforting and luxurious dish with depth and umami, and the selection of sushi, each piece executed with precision and purity. Adding to the magic of the evening was a gentle light show, a visual element that complemented the experience without overshadowing the cuisine. The thoughtful gifts we received throughout the evening added playful charm and a deeply personal touch to the omakase. But above all, what truly stayed with us was the genuine kindness of Nakagawa-san and the team. My girlfriend and I left not just full, but emotionally moved by the level of artistry and care they poured into their craft.
