We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the waiter was very accurate with the recommendations. The atmosphere was lively, and the bar was prominent. The location on the water was very soothing and added to the ocean vibe. Our drinks were very tasty, and the drink names added to the experience (Ube be be, the Golden Hour). The food was excellent. The catch of the day was as described, a dense spearfish, as the potato puree and assorted veggies accompanied the flavorful meat. Even the chicken stir fry was flavorful and was presented well. The specialty pasta with asparagus, butternut squash was tasty. Lastly, the waiter brought out ice cream, in celebration of my wife's birthday. Would definitely come again.

We enjoyed a truly stellar experience! Lovely ambience (easy to hear our own conversation, even with a pretty full house) and a table with a fabulous ocean sunset view. Our waiter explained all the menu items and made great recommendations. The octopus appetizer was absolutely wonderful and not to be missed, with garlic butter worthy of being soaked up with the accompanying toasted bread. We followed with a refreshing avocado-tomato-papaya salad, which cleansed our palate for dinner. We both had the scallops and clams—also superlative: perfectly seared scallops, plump clams, pillowy gnocchi in a delightful citrusy sauce. For dessert, we shared the pineapple-macadamia nut bread pudding, which was rich…and yet not as overly dense as some bread puddings can be. Truly a fine and memorable dining experience, and one we hope to repeat when we return to Maui next year.

This place was all I hoped that it would be. We were seated in a booth with a nice view. Ashley our server was great and attentive. The Parmesan mahi mahi was super fresh but the star of the show was the chicken and ribs. So much flavor in both of those. They surprised us with a Hula Pie for our anniversary. The macadamia nut ice cream in it was incredible. And if it couldn’t get any better, they validated my parking.

Had a business dinner at my favorite spot, the Hula Grill. It was great! Food and drinks were brought out promptly, and the quality of both were superb. Service was friendly and professional. I love this place.

Delectable food/wine: Argylle Pinot Noir paired nicely with Australian rack of lamb, Hawaiian short ribs, and macadamia crusted mahi-mahi. Delicious lilikoi cheese cake and complimentary birthday brownie with vanilla ice cream--great way to end the meal. Ambiance: Open space, beautiful view! Excellent service from Calvin, live music and wonderful hospitality from the staff!
