Restaurants near Lightship Museum

Visited for July 2025 Restaurant Week. Food was excellent, service very attentive, and overall friendly ambience. Restaurant week menu was a great value and portion sizes very generous.

Our evening was delightful. We were a group of 6 who had gathered to celebrate several reasons together. We found the food and the service was excellent! We shall return soon and hope to have Even, our server, there to enrich our next experience.

My husband and I have heard that this is the best steakhouse in the area, and the word of mouth was not wrong! The dining room has a cozy, intimate feeling but doesn't feel cramped. The wait staff was very attentive. Food was served quickly, but at no point did we feel rushed. The food itself was all outstanding and generous portion sizes meant we took home leftovers.

One of the best meals we have ever had. We plan to return again tomorrow.

Recently moved to the area and had an outstanding dining experience at the restaurant with chef Travis Haywood! He went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service, listen to our desires and make appropriate recommendations for our dining pleasure! We had stuffed salmon on garlic mashed potatoes and red snapper with coconut curry sauce, instead of the piri piri  sauce which was delicious and eliminated the heat! He even went above and beyond to buy us a birthday dessert! His customer service, personality, and approach are an asset to the restaurant in every way! 5 stars for him for sure! He even made sure everything was clarified for our order before he left for the day, even though his shift was over. The only 2 little things that would NOT keep us from returning was the waiter forgot our appetizer (charcuterie board) and the potatoes they served with the fish were disappointing tasteless and not the quality that should have gone with the fish that was so spectacular! I definitely recommend finding a new alternative or just putting the red snapper on the garlic, mashed potatoes and getting rid of whatever those frozen yucky potatoes were! And to be clear chef, Travis was not there for the preparation just the prep! Lol lol In addition, I’d like to shout out to the bartender, I wish I remembered her name, she was pleasant, made outstanding drink recommendations, and made outstanding drinks!!  I know she was a Gemini and had just celebrated her birthday as well so please find out who she is so you can give her the five star shout out!!! lol lol Thank you for such a pleasant birthday celebration !
