Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. We're also more than happy to accommodate business dinners or other special occasions in private rooms.

    We lucked out. It was the last day of Restaurant Week. Brunch was delicious! Eggs Benedict cooked perfectly as well as fried eggs, hash browns and bacon. Wonderful way to celebrate my birthday with my brother who lives in Texas. Kudos to Morgan, the wait staff and the Chef!

    We came here for dinner and drinks. They have a great selection of wine to choose from. The food is also delicious. We ordered the cheese plate starter and I had the steak frites and they were so good and cooked perfectly.

    Very nice place. Open and quiet - great place to host a few business colleagues for a dinner. Wait staff was top-notch. They knew the menu, helped with wine selection and were on top of things. Food came out promptly and exactly as ordered. Will definitely be visiting again when my travels bring me though town.

    Always wonderful having choice with an outstanding dinner at Texas de Brazil. Loved our lamb chops, flank steak and salad bar. Etc, etc. Our service was wonderful as usual. Alonso and Joshua were top notch tonight. We will certainly be back again.
