"AMAZING as always. The corn ribs, the frogs legs, the yellowtail crudo, the lambchop, the strawberry parfait! You guys always leave me stuffed to the gills in the best damn way. Thank you thank you."See more
"This place was a little hidden. It was attached to a business tower that you would not notice at first, but the entrance way is very nice. The overall atmosphere where beautiful. Super cool modern look. The services was on point. And food was interesting combination and delicious. I would strongly recommend the fried Ramen egg. 5 stars all around."See more
"First time eating at Openaire and it was a pleasant surprise. We were seated next to others guests that were also attending the Todd Rundgren concert at the Wiltern. The food was fresh and well prepared. The cocktails were smartly prepared. We look forward to our next metal when in Los Angeles."See more
"WOW - that is all that I can say. What a wonderful experience we had on Friday night. Going into it, I wasn't sure about having a veggie forward meal, but everything was delicious. Plan for it to be a little pricey, but well work the experience.
The food, the ambiance, etc. was great, but I have to tell you that the relationship between the chef and his son who happened to be helping that night just added such a personal touch to a wonderful evening. Also, having the Chef available afterwards to talk was such a delight.
We were a party of four and two of the party added the supplements (proteins) to their meal so that we could all try everything and one person got the wine paring and we each took a sip of that as well.
8 Courses - the two favorite courses were the Corn Veloute and the Scallops - both truly heaven. Though not bad, the two least favorite items were the egg brown butter dish (even though the bread is to die for) and the donut. I will tell you, you have the option to order a loaf of the bread for each guest if you want - do it. At least do one loaf for a party of four and have them cut in half.
Thank you for a wonderful evening!"See more
"Ombu Grill in Koreatown was a nice experience. Three of us dined there on a Sunday night. Probably only one other table of 2 when we arrived. Not sure anyone else ever came in after that. Our waiter was charming and helpful, and while others were friendly, communication was a little more difficult with them. We picked an item which had 5 different cuts of beef, all very good, cooked over a grill in the table with about 12 to 15 typical Korean side dishes. They also have Argentinian specialties but they all need 1 hour preparation time so we weren’t able to sample as much as we would have liked to. Beer and wine only. Valet parking available in the strip center. Well appointed restaurant."See more
"The steak frites was excellent and the wine selection was also terrific. Ambience is definitely informal/cafe like rather than formal french, but the meal was relatively cheap compared to most french restaurants. A great place for lunch and family friendly for a medium priced dinner."See more
