New Orleans is renowned for its French cuisine, and you won’t have to leave the confines of The Eliza Jane to enjoy delicious fare within a French bistro. Couvant specializes in classic French cooking serving entrees that pay homage to French history and regional specialties. Or dine at a bistro table in our historic courtyard for chef-driven entrées and a bottle of wine — or maybe two.

We loved this restaurant. Our server, Jessica, was amazing. Incredibly attentive, had great suggestions. Was very friendly and generally knew her stuff. We’ve been coming to NOLA for years and finally tried this place. We will be back! The wedge salad was really good. Our drinks were fantastic. We both had true filet mignon and asparagus. Equally delicious and cooked perfectly. The bread and carpaccio appetizer was wonderful. Overall the only complaint I can even think of is that the tables were really small and we had a hard time finding room! The music was so wonderful- we would eat there again just to listen to their pianist. This place is fantastic- great food. Great value. Exceptional service! Thank you!

We’ve been coming to Luke for many years. It is, typically, our first meal every time we’re in NOLA. It NEVER disappoints, and the bartender, Matt, is exceptional!

I had a lovely meal here on April 10. I had the wood grilled Redfish with sliced potatoes and sugar snap peas. They were all excellent . Could have been slight warmer but that was not a big deal. Had a glass of Viognier with dinner and the bread pudding for dessert, which was wonderful. My waiter Brett was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Really good food. Service slow but we understood given terrible weather and servers couldn’t get to work. Noisy like all NOLA restaurants. We will come back!
