"We went on a weeknight and the service was great. You can’t beat the prime rib. We ate at another place last week and their prime rib just does not compare to what you get at Grub Steak. We had my 4 months old grandson with us and they were so accommodating. The salad bar is fabulous. Prices have gone up so it is not the bargain it once was. The variety is remarkable. Hopefully the road construction will be over with soon. It makes parking a bit more difficult."See more
"It was a birthday.
I'd asked for a 'quiet' place, we were definitely seated as requested. We could hear each other! He wasn't feeling all that great and wanted small plates... Started with meat and cheese plate ...Ha! not small, but GREAT! The selection of meats and cheeses was delish and supported with grilled bread as well as an amazing pureed beet and mustard accompaniment (half of that came home with us). The Caesar came with delicious sweet white anchovies! and his mussels with yet another serving of that wonderful grilled bread, filled him up! I had Oso Bucco, it was fabulous! We finished off the birthday dinner with a chocolate soufflé that was delightful, light, beautiful creme anglaise and freshly whipped cream. It was a fine evening!"See more
"Wife’s gnocchi was very good, but my lasagna was maybe 70% mozzarella- too much. Hard to taste the meat, ricotta or noodles - I like mozzarella, but the dish was out of balance- almost like eating Welsh rarebit."See more
