Restaurants near Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Central Park

This was our first time to restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful from the start. There is a large ‘outdoor’ bar area that would be fun in warmer weather (it’s in a thru alcove between streets so warm enough in December for adventurous folks to sit outside even now). The inside was packed on all the multiple levels, so it is noisy. We had the lobster bisque and onion soup as appetizers, both were excellent). For dinner the chateaubriand for two. It was cooked perfectly as were the vegetables and mashed potatoes. We tried the black sesame seed crème brûlée, but it was just too much sesame. The usual crème brûlée was very tasty. The service, even as packed as they were on this holiday season Wednesday, was fast. The food arrived hot and quickly after ordering. It was also cleared quickly, and there was no pressure to get us out as we enjoyed our decaf and dessert. We plan on returning during our next trip into the city.

Food was delicious, and very gluten free friendly. Our service from the time we stepped in to the time we left was excellent! Lively atmosphere . Would love to come back again when in the city.

Really happening and busy for a Monday, good people watching, food was amazing, staff was great. We ate at the bar and started with roasted garlic babka! (Don’t miss that) then had branzino. Amazing. Will be back.

We shared a dish of penne with marinara sauce and added in some chicken for an addtl charge . Everything was so delicious. The portions are absolutely huge. They bring a great bread basket to the table with a variety of homemade breads - all delicious as well. Prices are reasonable considering the portions and quality. Would definitely recommend checking this place out. You won’t be sorry.

Don't order Chicken Paillard. It was very dry. Everything else was great. We ordered crab cake, lobster salad, fries and steak, branzino, and scallops. Chocolate mousse and ice cream cake are so good. Service was good but did require a lot of weaving hands to get attention during the peak hour. Overall a very good experience.
