This enchanting Creole cuisine haven is a must-visit destination for any food connoisseur, and our Bastille Day celebration was the perfect excuse to indulge in its splendor. As we stepped into the beautifully restored 18th-century mansion, we were immediately enveloped in the warm, inviting atmosphere that permeates every corner of this iconic eatery. The Sunday jazz brunch, with its strolling musicians and lively tunes, set the tone for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Our group of four was treated to exceptional service, with the staff displaying the utmost respect and attention to detail throughout our meal. The dress code, while smart casual, added a touch of elegance to the proceedings, making us feel like we were part of a bygone era. The culinary delights that followed were nothing short of breathtaking. Muriel's Bloody Mary, with its bold flavors and generous pour, was the perfect accompaniment to our meal. The Turtle Soup au Sherry, a rich and savory delight, was a standout, while the Bananas Foster Pain Perdu, with its decadent rum and brown sugar banana sauce, was an Instagram-worthy masterpiece. The pièce de résistance, however, was the Wood Grilled Pork Chop, served with mashed potatoes, southern braised greens, and a tasso cream gravy.     This was our first time in New Orleans. Our server Jeremy honestly made this the best experience ever for us. Very knowledgeable of the menu and New Orleans culture. Would definitely come again. Now the food. We had the opportunity to try these items and here are our thoughts. Barbecue shrimp: amazing, shrimp cooked to perfection, shrimp rested in a flavorful dark sauce, seasoned well, no table salt/pepper or hot sauce required. Not what I thought of “bbq”. Not very sweet. More savory. That bread for dipping. Baby! The sauce and dipping bread was delicious. Needed self control not to lick the plate. 5/5 Shrimp and grits:again, shrimp cooked to protection. Slightly crispy. My daughter and I weren’t fans of the grits and dark roux. Not our fav. But fair 3.5/5 Seafood gumbo: delicious! Nice moderately thicken roux with shrimp and crab surprises in each bite. Also had a mild spicy kick in the back of your throat after each bite. That crystal hot sauce add a nice flavor without a crazy overpowering spicy experience. 5/5 Bread pudding: light, creamy, not too sweet. Lovely end to a great meal. 4.5/5

    I am a first time visitor to NOLA and my favourite experience was dining at Antoine’s! I loved everything, the space, the local servers, the food was delish. I did not like that they sat us by the kitchen door, so I asked to be relocated, which they did immediately. The staff was lovely and I enjoyed speaking with each one. Our main server was very inexperienced but we liked him. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and they did not off a candle or birthday desert, which was disappointing but still, the best dining experience compared to Commanders Palace and Restaurant August
