- MMichaelSan Diego •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoNice setting on the covered back patio. Excellent service. Small entre selection with some items not available at an early dining hour. Decent wine selection for the size of restaurant. My linguine a la mama Alexander was seemed to me to be a thicker noodle than linguine and too heavily spiced. All the entres seemed overpriced. With the tip my bill was $200 for two, with a bottle of wine and desserts. But again, entered were not pastas beyond what are very commonly available in similar restaurants.More infoAlexander's on 30thPrice: Expensive• Italian• North Park•4.7
- JJamesLos Angeles •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoService was great. Nice clean vibes. No wait times. The bathroom sinks were a pain. Having to stick your hands in this little window.. just odd, but they were clean. We had the Biggie plate, but only the sweet potatoes and jalapeno granita stood out! The oysters were fresh, but the shucker needs some help. Most of the bellies were popped open from the knife. Share ceviches were small, and bagged tostadas. Meh. A phenomenal birthday dessert, and the hospitality delivered for a celebration is worth of a mention. Even the transition between servers during transition was smooth. Will recommend, but probably won’t return. Although maybe just for the fish and chips. The table next to us ordered that, and it looked delicious. Idk though!More infoIronside Fish & OysterPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Little Italy•4.7

- EEvansSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 29, 2025Service and food were great (considering). Only two servers on staff and we were there for the pre show rush. Servers and support staff did great (Sat6/28), but made the environment a little frenetic. Cocktails were all pretty solid and were balanced on the drier side. The milk punch with pineapple and brandy was on the thinner side and lacked the viscosity/richness expected, but flavors were still good. We had a nice meal and made it to our show on time.More infoSaint James French DinerPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.4
