- DDennisVIPOrange County •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHad an early lunch reservation for my birthday, seated on arrival. Given a cute birthday menu. Ordered a very strong & delicious Mai Tai, cup of chowder, and lobster rolls with fries. The chowder was very good, just thick enough and great flavor. The biscuit served with the chowed was still warm when it was served. The lobster roll was delicious, but the amount of lobster in the roll was skimpy compared to our previous visits to Ironside. Our server surprised me with a complimentary dessert to celebrate my birthday. My husband said he got a call prior to our reservation asking whose birthday it was and if they had any allergies. Thoughtful. Staff from the host to servers were all very welcoming.More infoIronside Fish & OysterPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Little Italy•4.6

But it was the white linen cocktail that highlighted my night (so freaking good I had two)! My husband was presented with a decadent dessert of his choice as a complimentary birthday treat - cheesecake!More infoLou & Mickey'sPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.7

Food came out very fast and was very delicious.More infoOfficine Buona ForchettaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Point Loma•4.5

Specifically, the chirashi bowl was incredible - a generous portion of fresh fish. I will be back.More infoTakoPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Old Town•4.2
