Robin Menlo Park is a contemporary Japanese restaurant focused on providing a personalized omakase experience using the most pristine ingredients available from the markets each day. Prices range from $109 to $209 depending on each guests unique preferences. Chef/owner Adam Tortosa (1760, LA's Ink) worked in LA under master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi, but here he's putting his own spin on the fish he prepares. Other reasons to visit: the stylish interior, hip hop soundtrack, and pretty ceramics made by local craftsmen.

From Chef Srijith Gopinathan and restaurateur Ayesha Thapar, the creators of Ettan, Copra and Little Blue Door, Eylan offers seasonally-driven Cal-Indian cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, with thoughtfully sourced produce and a variety of proteins cooked over the embers and served alongside clever riffs on traditional breads from different regions of India.     Everything we ate was delicious. The sesame crusted bread was a great accompaniment throughout the meal to dip into the sauces and hummus. We shared and ate every bite of Levrek (marinated branzino) Turkmen Mantisi -Steamed dumplings over garlic yogurt with paprika-butter, hummus, and lamb chops and profiterole for dessert. A perfect gin martini and a virgin mojito. The place is large and nicely decorated and service was very good. Will definitely return.

    Overall an okay 1 star Michelin experience. The appetizers were fine.(7/10). The dessert were good, I loved it.(10/10) For the main course, I had a duck breast which was tasty but my wife didn't like her beef wellington as she tasted some beef tendons which very hard to chew.The restaurant has valet parking which is nice. If you like quiet, old money style restaurants, Selby's will be a good choice.
