Portico Italian Social Food
Precio: Caro•Italiana•4.9(141)Inspired by Italy’s aperitivo hour, when public squares and streets are filled with lively conversation, Portico serves handmade and authentic Italian fare in Sebastopol in western Sonoma County.
A portico is a colonnade or covered walkway in classical architecture. Since the middle ages the elegant porticos of Bologna, Italy have a meeting place for the public as well as a place for business. Paolo Pedrinazzi (who is from Bologna) and Kat Escamilla, owners of the new Portico trattoria , bring this experience to Sebastopol. They even have monthly Regional dinner parties with live jazz.
The setting includes an Italian fountain on their cozy patio. Portico offers light table service and counter ordering. Excellent Italian wines are sold in the restaurant at retail pricing; refreshingly unpretentious. The menu features an array of antipasti, handmade egg pasta, gluten free risottos, Bolognese lasagna, tiramisu, and baked goods . A market in the front is stocked with take-n-bake entreesGoldfinch

Fern Bar's airy, plant-filled space can be found within The Barlow, Sebastopol's popular shopping and dining destination. Our outdoor dining room is covered with a heater next to every table, it still gets cold so bring a layer.

Dinner, lunch, and weekend brunch are served on the year-round garden patio or in the lively dining room with its mix of cozy booths and banquettes. A love letter to the owner’s Brooklyn-born and raised Nonna, Campanella’s menu is classic East Coast Italian with some modern touches. Think New York-style pizza topped with Chicken Parm or “Mac & Peas” with house-made cavatelli. Vegetarian, gluten and dairy-free options, too. Full bar with craft and classic cocktails, local and Italian wines, and beers. The whole family will feel like they’re in the warm embrace of their hip grandma.
