Try it, I loved it! We stayed over night about 1 mile away. Walked into town. We decided on Goldfinch. It offered small bites and larger plates. We each had a creative cocktail. They were excellent. I also had a glass of wine with the meal. We had olives ad mushrooms with the first cocktail. We chose 4 different small plates. Each was excellent. The fresh halibut ceviche was great and although I am not a big fan of ceviche, I would order this again. Even the potatoes were both crative and very good. WE WILL BE BACK.

Food was outstanding. Loved it. Noise level was extreme; people couldn’t hear each other over others so they had to talk very loudly to each other to be heard by their dinner parties. Opposite of relaxing. Note that after 8:00 it quiets down. My husband and I were on a date and we dressed up because of the recommendations from a friend and based on the high prices. People dressed very casually primarily- in t-shirts and jeans and many men wore baseball caps, which was disappointing as well. At that high price point we thought it was going to be fine dining. Felt like a high priced diner. Recommendations to Nick, the owner, who is super nice - put noise dampening on the walls and ceilings, not like there was - some sparse egg crate foam under our table, and request no jeans, t-shirts and hats; smart casual dress code, as many many fine and other dining restaurants do.

Exceptional food, I mean really really yummy and beautiful. Get the beet dish, it's incredible! The pasta was so fresh with peas and a lovely sauce. If you like steak, look no more!! I love this place and it's in Sebastopol which makes it a gem for us locals. If you are coming into town for any reason, make sure you come check this place out. I always bring my friends and family here when they visit.

Wow! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. We enjoyed siting at the kitchen bar top and watching each amazing dish be prepared with care. For the two of us, we chose two shared plates (heirloom carrots and the gem salad with strawberries and feta) and a one large dish (hangar steak). We enjoyed every bite.

Went to celebrate my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. We had someone with us with celiac disease and our wait staff went through the entire menu with her showing what was available to her. Food was delicious ! Food was beautiful and flavors were wonderful. I loved the pace at which they brought out our food. It was a slower pace. It was perfect to enjoy the ambiance and company all while not feeling rushed through anything . All and all a great evening. Must try!
