To date, beloved food-world master of ceremonies Billy Harris has raised $1 million for charity through his acclaimed dinner series that has featured the best restaurants across the country. Now, OpenTable is teaming up with Harris for a Los Angeles event series that involves some of the city’s best food and drink, auctions benefitting The Trotter Project — a non-profit for underprivileged aspiring chefs — and surprise entertainment.

First up is a Saturday, April 4 lunch at Nic’s on Beverly, a vegan restaurant in Beverly Grove with a dreamy, plant-filled back patio. Chefs Steven Fretz and Ryan Foley will serve a $130 multi-course meal with wine and cocktail pairings, while Harris hosts one of his famed auctions, with proceeds going to The Trotter Project. Tickets are now on sale here for the day at Nic’s — and OpenTable users are getting exclusive early access to snag seats before the general public.

Future events include an April 28 dinner at acclaimed European newcomer Bon Temps, a wild signature Billy’s Brunch on June 14, and another brunch on August 30 at esteemed chef Nancy Silverton’s Italian restaurant Osteria Mozza. Stay tuned for more details on those.

“These are all friends of mine; Nancy Silverton is one of my closest friends. We want to do events with a caliber of chef that is amazing,” Harris says.

Harris is known for working with the food-world best as the go-to host for culinary events. His auctions and gala hosting over his 25-year career have raised $250 million at events ranging from a dinner for performer P!nk to events at Aspen Food & Wine.
