- KRKevinRvipWashington, D.C. Area •43 reviews5.0Dined on May 11, 2023A few friends and I went to Mezè on a beautiful DC evening to celebrate a special event. The engaging manager Mahir welcomed us and got us settled. We sat at a table on the cusp between the lovely patio and the cozy interior. The lively but unobtrusive pop music washed over us, transporting us to Istanbul. Hasan, elegant and also warm, recommended some dishes accommodating vegetarians and carnivores alike. A couple of us had Mezè’s signature mojitos while I had a fine Turkish white wine. A highlight of the evening was the selection of well presented and fresh cheeses, a hit with all. Among the fine items we ordered were mucver, quinoa köfte, and a simple bronzino. Throughout, Hasan stopped by to make sure that we were happy with our orders, which we certainly were. Hasan’s attention to detail and guests was outstanding, something that is too rare in the DC food scene. Finally we had a flavorful kunefe with complimentary port, a fine combination. Our party had a marvelous time. Thank you, Mezè!More infoMeze Restaurant$$$$• Turkish• Adams Morgan•4.9

- LLitaVirginia •1 review4.0Dined on Jan 1, 2023First experience for Sunday brunch was good. A few suggestions needed to accommodate anyone who’s handicap because the place has a lot of stairs. The waffle and omelette station gets very cluttered and folks were standing in line over seated folks trying to enjoy their meal. Need to move it or have more than one cooking station. The two hour limit goes fast waiting on your plates and in line for waffles etc. Overall our server was attentive and friendly. Food was good. Definitely for a younger crowd.More infoAir$$$$• Comfort Food• Adams Morgan•3.7
